Wow...the nostalgia

95-95 was my senior year in High School.....every song in here is my senior year anthem

@Newark88 pretty much covered the soundtrack (LOL @ Alfonzo Hunter....That song came right out of the depths of my subconscious and onto the surface once the beat came on)

96 was dope but it ended sad.

I didnt like the way Pac went out....There was a melancholy aura at the end of the year. That aura loomed over the presence of Muddy Waters and Ironman.....even listening to Makaveli there was this dark aura feeling around that time. This is why I will always give Diddy his props because after Pac, then Biggie it was Diddy who brought Hip Hop out of that dark feeling aura. Dude brought the fun back by mid 97.

1991 will always be my favorite year(Might have something to do with me losing my virginity that year :jawalrus:) ..Followed by 1990, '95 and then '98.

You know what else came out in 1996 that people dont acknowledge??

Hypnotize by Biggie....This sh*t came out before XMas 96 but its always associated with 1997. I'll never forget taping it off of Hot97 and playing it for my cousin. I'll never forget how after hearing it I concluded that Biggie just had the 'it factor' because Snoop had just dropped a dud with "Snoops Upside Your head" as the lead single and here was Biggie showing how a lead single from a rap superstars 2nd album should be done.

another song that came out in 96 that always gets associated with 97 is the original version of All About The Benjamins without the chorus the Kim verse or Biggie verse.

By the time the more popular version dropped I felt like the song was old and over produced.
