This page is dope! :gladbron:

The only way we made it out of this period was through Gods grace:blessed:

:dead: Why does this look EXACTLY like the shyt they used to serve us in my elementary school?

So did every public school in America all sell the same square shape pizza with the plastic cheese and those corn dogs? :mjlol:

I remember this very well.

I wanted that Nintendo 64 and there was a world wide shortage on those things.

My mom and dad told me I might have to settle for a PlayStation, so I was like cool. I was a teenager at this time so I wasn’t tripping. I was just thankful for what I was getting.

I get up Christmas morning and we opening gifts and I open my last gift and have no PlayStation or N64.

I was like well I guess I didn’t get neither. A few minutes went by and my mom told me to check the laundry room. Sitting there in the laundry room was a brand new N64 in a very nice gift bag with an extra controller and several games I wanted.

She told me later the only reason her my dad were able to get it is I put my name on a waiting list at GameStop and they just so happened to call them and tell them they were holding one for me.
Was expecting this to end with GameStop telling your mom the best they could do was a Sega Saturn. :mjcry:

The Toys R Us Book is actually how I tracked my maturity. I used to live for those books on Thanksgiving night/Black Friday. It was in the 2000s when I grew less and less excited for it and detached as I went through it. That was my realization that I basically wasn't a kid anymore.

I remember my people gave me the option of 1 game. My choice was between Captain American and Techno Bowl 3 for SNES. Them joints were going for a good 50 piece back then.

My buddies were begging for that TB3 joint, something drew me to the Capt game. Toys R US was heaven on earth back then boy. Better than the movies, disney world, all that

I legit think I had this exact copy
No, I know my parents had that exact copy!

On the 8th page, it has the location of my toysrus a few blocks from my house in Fort Greene, Brooklyn - (Gallery at Metrotech Center)

Discovery Zone was on the basement floor of that GOAT mall.:mjcry:

I miss my parents, RIP:mjcry:
