I get that you're a 76ers fan, but he didn't deserve it, and I fukks with Covington too. There were better forward candidates, especially since Embiid and Simmons either had more (the former) or near-equal (the latter) defensive impact for y'all.GTFOH
He was never a liability just weak on the boardsNow Horford wanna turn up on defense, but he was a liability in the paint when he was in Atlanta![]()

Yes he does deserve it, Cov is a mastermind at getting through screens and blowing up pick and rolls, his deflections rate led the entire NBA and he guards 1-4 at an elite level. Not to mention top 3 in DRPM even ahead of JoJo. He's been masterful on the defensive end for years now and is just now getting his credit. I'm not gonna let ya'll shyt on everything he does for having a bad postseason.I get that you're a 76ers fan, but he didn't deserve it, and I fukks with Covington too. Military genesWhat is it with Seattle and producing all this NBA talent

Nah, you're giving him far, far too much credit. There's only a couple of players who are capable of doing that - Covington isn't one of them.Yes he does deserve it, Cov is a mastermind at getting through screens and blowing up pick and rolls, his deflections rate led the entire NBA and he guards 1-4 at an elite level.
DRPM is a heavily flawed metric, and I dare hope you're not suggesting he has more defensive impact than Embiid. Not to mention top 3 in DRPM even ahead of JoJo.
He has been great on defense for a while now, I just don't think he deserved it over other forwards. I don't think it's a wrong selection like Murray's is, just that there were better candidates. He's been masterful on the defensive end for years now and is just now getting his credit.

I haven't even brought up his postseason performance.
Still running around giving people half truths as usual I see ... no wonder you get shyt on so routinely around hereCP3 had 74 total points, only five behind Butler. He's still getting legacy votes.
To be fair, when Boogie went down their defense got A LOT better.
Pelicans defense before Boogie's injury - 106.9 DRTG (bottom-10 defense - #21)
Pelicans defense after Boogie's injury - 103.8 DRTG (top-10 defense - #6)
Word to @Left.A1

You lost. That's all there is to it. Funny how you were tagging me mentioning the Pelicans DRTG only a few games after his injury, and now you're coming with this "half truths" nonsense when your own logic works against your agenda.Still running around giving people half truths as usual I see ... no wonder you get shyt on so routinely around here![]()
