First generation American, but my family is from Antigua. I feel like I definitely identify more with American culture, but I want to change that after I went to Antigua last year and saw their Independence Day celebration (November 1, 1981 is the official date) ... I can understand the patois, but I can't speak it
I've been meaning to go to the Antiguan Consulate General since I came back, but I just haven't made the trip yet ...
