It's real basketball, but just a part of organized basketball.

Whoever had the DB vs WR matchup was spot on because it's similar. Neither can or should be taken out of context of the bigger picture and yet individual wins matter.

When you're playing one on one you don't have to worry about anything else. Switches, screens, help defense, awareness, court vision, running a play, pretty much anything.

It's also not an indicator of anything if you can beat someone one on one. Just like it's never an indicator of WR beating a corner on a free release in practice, it's not an indicator that some dude is really good at pro level basketball because he kills everyone his size in 1v1

By playing 5v5

You get better playing basketball, by playing actual basketball.

Dafuk

Nothing worse than playing with a dude who dribbles 30 times and jacks up a step back 3 like it’s 21 when we’re playing a full game.

You ain’t getting the ball again breh. Better go rebound or cut and set a screen
So are you saying this is a waste of time

On KRS One's nose, eating sunflower seeds.
In the beginning of EVERY damn basketball game, what’s the #1 question??

“Who you holding”? Or “I got him.”

Why? Because 1 on 1 is PART of team ball. Are we seriously debating this?

Coach- :damn: Who’s MAN???

Player- :sadcam: Mines coach

Coach- Make sure he doesn’t score again! He your assignment!!

But 1 on 1 isn’t real basketball.

But that’s not the issue here. Indicators aren’t the issue. It being deemed, “not real”, is.

at a certain level 1 v 1 is not real basketball. I agree. Nba level offensive players cant be stopped by any single player. It just becomes a scoring fest. But i'll let ya'll cook and disagree with the top 1% thay actually made it to the league.

:mjlol:FUNNY HOW MJ AND KOBE
WERE ALWAYS TALKING ABOUT
1V1 BASKETBALL
BUT THE SWITCH MERCHANT,
WITH NO BAG SAYS ITS NOT
REAL BASKETBALL
AFTER BEING COOKED SO MANY
TIMES IN THE PAST
