I realized what a hypocrite booking can make me be. Last year, I was all in on Jey winning the Rumble and taking out Roman at WM (instead of Cody) since the Bloodline storyline literally started with Roman and Jey.
This year, I was waiting for Cena to eliminate Jey and was FLABBERGASTED when Jey won
Loved the Rumble though. Liked that they started it off with the workhorses in Penta/Gable/Carmelo and old man Rey. That was good shyt.
Bronn and Jacob were allstars for sure.
I was mainly worried about how they were going to book the stars once we got Roman/Punk/Cena/Seth/Drew/AJ with Jacob lurking around.
I felt it hit a little lull when it was Jacob/Roman/Drew/AJ, like they weren't sure how to do any story and they sort of gave up fighting each other.
But the Cena/Roman/Punk and then Seth arriving brought it all back. Seth snapping was great. Wasn't too fussed with the eliminations of the stars, but honestly thought it was going to be Cena at that point. Good for Jey though. Hope he redeems himself against Gunther after that shytshow with Jimmy last WM.
Sidebar: Went back to watch the Drew elimination, I see the confusion there. LA Knight was taking awhile to get his shyt going with Logan. Drew and Jey go for the spot and Damien has to bump LA out the way to eliminate Drew. It looked messy and same time LA Knight is pounding on Logan
