It’s fake outrage to a T

online outrage in general is fake

an OG in the barbershop schooled me on that shyt years ago and changed my whole perspective on cancel culture in general. I forgot what the subject was, mighta been Dave Chappelle vs the trannies (or some Kanye slavery was a choice type nonsense) but homie said some shyt like “when you clock into work tomorrow, are you gonna be thinkin bout Dave Chappelle? What about when you eating dinner tonight? When you walkin ya dog, and making love to ya woman, you gon be upset about Dave Chappelle? No? it’s only when you on the computer ain’t it? So basically you only care in front of an audience”

Ain’t verbatim but that shyt still holds true til this day about damn near everything. Sometimes I even be speaking on certain shyt and catch myself like maaan I don’t care bout this, why am I even acting like I do lol.. I say that to say I ain’t gon pretend to be pressed over Brock Lesnar being back on the tv show. My life goes on whether he there or in Minnesota hunting mooses. shyt ain’t that important to me, but I was sports entertained for sure and I’m gonna continue to be whether he there or away fighting weird cases

Also for all the snowflakes out there, Brock is guilty of being unfaithful to Sable but nothing illegal.

While he hasn't legally been found guilty of any wrong doing, the text exchanges, what was being proposed and proximity to Vince's debauchery are weird and people have a right to feel a way about that, don't be obtuse

There's a million page thread on Vince and a million page thread on Hogan. Celebrities, most of the time, are terrible people. It doesn't really matter all that much.

When UFC went full on MAGA, I stopped watching it but I wasn't really a big fan anyway. I went to some UFC shows and the crowds were worse than wrestling crowds. Nothing but wannabe tough guy cacs in Affliction shirts :scust:

WWE hasn't gone in as much as UFC has, not yet. But there's been plenty of times where I've stopped watching and then picked it up again.

The only real outrage should be related to politics. That's shyt that affects your everyday life. If you don't care then cool, nobody can make anyone care about politics. But everyone should. :manny:

The thing about fake outrage is that the conversation tricks got into thinking you have to care

I caught myself the other day with the American eagle Sydney Sweeney ad. Everyone was upset about it so I threw a tweet at shorty too but then I’m like dawg… I don’t care about what this big titty euphoria bytch doing, I don’t even wear American Eagle. Why am I even acting like this means absolutely anything to me.. ima log off and not think about this shyt a single time. I’m literally only contributing to the conversation because it’s in front of me

Had to delete the tweet and keep it pushing like a player. It’s okay to feel indifferent and/or not really give a fukk about topics lol. Everything doesn’t have to have some heavy grand standing all or nothing conclusion. It’s perfectly alright to be like “Brock got a weird case, I’m surprised they bringing him back. That’s a wild ass decision… anyway see you tonight for RAW lol”

No real need for it to turn into some crazy convo where we questioning each others morals and shyt unless you (generally speaking) actually feel that strongly about it

The outrage directed at Hunter and Linda McMahon makes sense to me. There's plenty to discuss with those two. Brock, I don't know. It's like, who knows how much he even knew about the chick. for all he knew it's some demon that Vince got lined up and that's all it is. Brock a freaky ass mountain cac.

That shyt don't really affect me at all. It shows that TKO is a bullshyt company but we already knew that.

All outrage makes sense to me lol

I just don’t think a lot of the people outraged really care that much about the thing they’re outraged about. Some people do for sure, but a lot of the conversation takes place between parties that could give a fukk on both sides of the spectrum (the ppl arguing for Brock and the people arguing against Brock)

I could be wrong but I def feel like a lot of us really don’t care that much and we only have the conversation because it’s relevant and in front of us. We don’t actually feel as strongly as we’re portraying on either side. The internet just magnifies the conversation and forces a side to be picked when in reality outside of these digital walls we don’t even care enough to be on a side outside of the want to be entertained

Brock being named in the lawsuit is very much different to him actually being sued, but it's still a weird case with his name on it. I don't really care about it that much as you said because of that reason. but I can't help but think of it while I am watching it. This is to add on to the other shyt going on with WWE/MAGA shyt and Triple H inconsistencies with pushing Black wrestlers.

If I see Trump/JD Vance in the crowd with WWE praising them all night or Vince comes back I will definitely stop watching though. It's one of the reasons I barely watch UFC now, I will gladly give up my entertainment to not support full blown MAGA shyt.

As you should. I’m all for people ditching the show when it’s not aligned with them morally. Plus WWE been kinda ass this year so it’s not like you missing much if you tune out lol. I only still watch because I’m off mondays now and ain’t got shyt to do on mondays

And with brock, the people who legit feel strongly about him being named almost having shorty pimped to him, they got all the right to feel mad offended that he’s on the show again. All I’m saying is for the people who don’t feel strongly or care really at all, don’t pretend to just because the topic is hot lol

Most of us coli heathens could care less about what that freaky cave cracka got going on let’s be real

:hubie:

I only get concerned once hard er’s start flying. Outside of that, that freaky white shyt ain’t got nothin to do with me lol

i get the frustration with how the story went, cena being heel just to randomly turn face again was random asf

but in kayfabe, rock being the final boss and not showing up/doing whatever he wants could still make sense if he eventually takes a 1-2months to wrap up all that soul selling story shyt (whether he sent lesnar after cena for backtreading, or to eventually do the rock/roman thing etc)

idk bout the travis scott shyt tho that felt pointless
