Maybe that was the message but that's not necessarily true either.

The video was cool but honestly we don't know much about their friendship.

We seen them when they were young, and as adults. If that's the totality of their friendship, of course they're gonna grow apart.

The guys I've known 30 years, we all stayed in touch after high school.

A few of us lived together, at the very least we seen each other multiple times a week because we lived kinda close.

At one point damn near all of us worked at the same spot.

During the decade after high school, people moved away, got jobs with different schedules, some had kids or got married, etc.

But by that point we'd already known each other 15+ years. So the foundation was solid.

My point is, we have no idea how strong the foundation for the friendship was, in this video.

This right here man. Nas just knew. shyt happened to me a few years back and I just realized we just different people now and we're in different lots in life. Some people are content staying stuck in the same rut.

Same shyt, I didn't talk to one of my homies in person since the pandemic started, and we caught up when we had to take a road trip to meet up another one of my homies out of state. Picked up right after we left.
