what exactly do you mean by "free energy"?

This is probably another story. IF the Oil industry was that powerful, there wouldn't be any climate change scientists, electric cars, wind turbines, or nuclear physicists.

It's not a conspiracy theory that the USA are in damn near every country that has natural resources. They create a civil war and then they put in power someone who will sell the resources at dirt cheap prices. i'll just deal with the first 'inventor'

Herman Anderson, who invented the water based car. Googling this guy, he doesn't appear on the net apart other conspiracy sites peddling this water powered car story. He didn't invent a water powered car, he filed a patent for a hydrogen powered car, which is totally different. It proposed used hydrogen and oxygen mix to ignite a spark plug. If you don't know hydrogen is extremely flammable, the same reason the Hindenburg Blimp exploded.

People may have got confused as the patent says hydrogen and oxygen, as they are the elements that make up what water, but they are not water. You can split water into hydrogen and oxygen but that requires energy, a lot of it. It take more energy to break water into its elements than you make from burning ( oxidising) hydrogen. This process is a net negative, the energy put into it, is less than you get out.

You actually sound educated on this stuff. I just get high and read about things that interest me but I don't have the sufficient knowledge to know if what I'm reading is correct or not

Always found it lazy and unscientific that our concept of UFO/aliens is almost always based on humanoid concepts. Two eyes, two legs, a head, etc. They're all bilaterally symmetric, like most animals on earth. Why would intelligent life lightyears away from earth have the same general look as us?

i actually would bet that aliens would probably evolve to be bilaterally symmetrical if they were land based had finite resources, because its pretty efficient. However i doubt they'd crash land on a barren moon, when fertile earth is just there, and fly their space ship with q tips on her face.

The way the science community is set up is easy for everyone to shoot their shot. As long as you have the resources to do research, there's no hierarchy or ruler. You just have to get your theory vetted, published and peer reviewed to get on the map. This is why our development has been exponential the past 300 years.
