Only reason Pac is winning the poll because Pac being the GOAT is the go to opinion due to cacs of mainstream media pushing down that opinion down the throats of 90's babies and the like so they grow up thinking this is true no matterhow little they really even listen to Pac or biggie's albums

Pac is my most played artist in music. Probably Pac, Bob Marley, KRS and some others. It's nothing to do with the media we feel Pac is the GOAT, it's the music, infact Kanye gets pushed more by the white media than Pac. The critics like that artsy shyt Kanye does most of the time. If you really know the streets, you know Pac is LOVED on the streets, Kanye doesn't have that. It's like your trying to manipulate things, cause Pac is loved in the hood internationally among black people, all races but Pac represented for black people. Most the people who have Pac as their GOAT I know are black. Pac is winning the poll because people like his music better than Kanye.... this isn't a case of one being underground and one not or a racial bias, this is cause people think Pac's better.
What does that signify though? You like them more but doesn't make them better, if so then Kendrick better than Pac too? Trust me most cats in this thread know Pac's catelogue inside out, you can tell.

Kanye West has never had a big black fanbase outside of MAYBE his first album..should tell you a lot about his music.
The people from the street generally love Pac more. He spoke to the streets and many feel like he spoke for them.

(1) 2Pac is the GOAT (after Eminem) because of the IMPACT he had on the game...The mainstream ISN'T push 2Pac on anybody...Kool G Rap just recently did a list exempting 2Pac from his top 10, Lil Wayne and Drake (2 of the biggest mainstream rappers today) have stated that they preferred Jay Z to 2Pac...
2Pac isn't around to make a case for his GOAT status, so what "mainstream push" are you going on about...?
(2) You were not around to witness 2Pac's rise, therefore you don't relate to his music, and that makes perfect sense, but to assume that people are just voting for 2Pac "just because" is BIASED...So, when people vote for Jay Z, Eminem, Kanye, J Cole, Drake and etc it is legitimate, but if they vote for 2Pac or Biggie, they are just brainwashed robots following a program...? That's RIDICULOUS...
(3) 2Pac's catalogue >>>>> Jay Z...In my opinion, Jay Z doesn't have 1 single good album, he has a collection of good radio singles here and there, but I have NEVER put a Jay Z CD on, and just let it play...It's impossible...
But that's my opinion, and there are millions of people who share this opinion...Just like there are millions of people who, like you, believe Jay Z's farts smell like money...

I have heard people say "I don't like rap music, but I listen to Eminem," and I have friends who only listen to 2Pac, because "he is real"...
The same reasons you have liking Jay Z are the same reasons other people have for liking their favourite rapper...

The poll proves that 2Pac is better than Kanye...At least as far as the Coli is concerned...If Pac was alive, and kept on his upward trajectory, the fans today will still be saying that he is better than ANY rapper doing it right now (except for Eminem)...

Now these same kids will still put Pac in their top 5 knowing damn well they've listened to lil wayne, Jay Z, nas, etc...10x more than they've listened to and enjoyed Pac

This isn't true though. I know 90's babies that have KRS One as their GOAT with Pac 2nd, so how can that be shoved down? Cause KRS hasn't had a mainstream media push.

It is uncommon specifically for KRS but it shows it can happen. Trying to think of 90's babies I know and who's their GOATS... K-Rino.... Common.... 2 Pac.... Jay Z.... Biggie.... KRS.... Nas. The point is it varies. So I don't think you can wholly dismiss an opinion as false just cause it doesn't coincide with yours. Cause in all honestly I've seen variety. I bet if a poll was made the results would be varied from 90's babies with votes for Pac, Biggie, Jay, Nas, Kanye, Lil Wayne (who some people got), Eminem, people got varied opinions. If they pick Pac it's cause they think Pac....
