There's actually nothing criminal about her being valedictorian or going to school. But yeah ok let's pretend a murderer and a valedictorian are cut from the same cloth, that makes sense.
:childplease: breh you cant be serious

how many criminal illegals, or even generally unproductive people, are there for every valedictorian? no one's saying these girls arent good people and gonna be productive citizens

this narrative is "oh look theres a couple valedictorians so lets turn a blind eye to illegals" :laff:

Illegal immigration is, you guessed it, illegal, and when you do something that is considered illegal enough for imprisionment (including in one case fraud, as one of the high schoolers had a job at CVS), you're a criminal, which means in fact, they are cut from the same cloth.

The fact she's contributing to society in a positive manner and has achieved more in high school than most of you nikkaz on the Coli I think she and immigrants like her should be granted clemency.

I don't see whats so hard for you to see in regards to her taking away a limited number of scholarships to school from someone that followed the law. Why do you want to reward criminality? Why don't you want a legal American to get that free ride to Yale over a foreigner who stays breaking the law?

Taking something would imply the scholarship was automatically someone else's and she stole it.

I don't think that's how the process works.

When a minority gets ahead they automatically cheated, stole, and are criminals and should be dealt with severely. See Black Wall Street.

And with immigrants you always here they they "take" argument as if nothing in America is provided by the person GIVING to the recipient. (jobs, scholarships, education, etc.)

Tell me more about how an 18 year old who has committed felonies has accomplished more than a Marine with a BSN in Nursing that works in cybersecurity.

I'd love to hear the bullshyt tale you're going to have to weave out of your ass.

Scholarships tend to be given out on a very limited basis. With the high costs of higher education and the growing resentment at student loans, I believe these scholarships are best served to legal American citizens. You are trying to rationalize criminality by pointing out her accomplishments but that ignores that there are millions of foreigners who are also qualified and accomplished who don't get to make it here because of this little thing called immigration quotas. She 'cut the line' by coming here illegally and now she's taken something of value away from an American citizen and from those that are waiting for their turn to come here legally.

What a lazy fukking argument. Keep your bs racist arguments to yourself.

Last I checked, African-Americans and legal Mexican-Americans make up a significant chunk of the American populace. She is "stealing" from you. If you were born here or immigrated here legally, she is "stealing" from you. It doesn't matter if you're white, black, Asian or Mexican - you are an American citizen first.

Yep. The narrative here isn't really about some hard working girls who happen to be illegal. Good for them. The reason it's a story is to lend support to the narrative that people shouldn't think people who are illegal should be deported basically. Which is bullshyt.

So how does the Coli feel about these girls taking away scholarships from legal citizens?
I support it..The smarter person should get the scholarship because they will do more for this same society with it..we need to stop rewarding mediocrity

OR... we can make a distinction between murderers and muther fukin valedictorians...

I said MOST Coli nikkaz first off but I'm assuming your referring to yourself so good for you. Just surprising how an undocumented high school student causes such grief in your life even in spite of your successes.

But her biggest crime is being her without documentation and in spite of that still managed to be a upstanding individual in our society and country. She's ready to make a difference in a world and you are a Nurse with a BSN and expert in cybersecurity who's main focus on her citizenship status.

Go be great instead of complaining online about others greatness.

Have the wrong priorities in life brehs :snoop:

1. It appears the scholarship she earned was given to her by a private organization and if that's how the organizations chooses to spend their funds I have no problem with it. Several other options for grants and scholarships as well.

2. They gave it to someone who's biggest crime was being without citizenship. She wasn't bothering anyone else or hindering anyone else's progress in school. She wasn't being a detriment or committing crimes that affected another individuals liberty or property. She came to the country to and work hard while being here and for that I think clemency should be awarded to her as well.

1. I agree with you. Private enterprise are free to do what they want.

2. If we isolated her case, I may agree with you. She 'deserves' that scholarship based on her merit. However, when setting precedent, I think its wrong to say its ok for foreigners who are not here legally to break the rules and reap our rewards. She is an exemplary student but she does not represent the entire bloc of 'illegals'.
