It was a multicultural student space. These Hispanics, and Asians, aren’t collectively liberal when it comes to politics. Does multicultural exclude white dudes on the ASU campus? Are students prohibited from wearing BLM and fukk trump shirts on campus or around more conservative leaning students? If so, then those girls were correct in their frustrations.

Back at WSU, there weren't too many ethnic folk, but we always stuck together and fought the same fights (contrary to the division that exists on places like the Coli).



The only sanctuary we had was the Multicultural Ethnic Center... essentially where we congregated when we weren't in class or the bars because regardless of where we were from or our parents emigrated via, it was the only place that we felt that was home away from home.

A University is where people are supposed to go to have a free discussion of ideas.

In-my-opinion, people shouldn't want to go to an all-White or all-Black school (unless you're going to an HBCU, and then I'm assuming you have other reasons for that, like better opportunities for partying and networking). It should be a mix of cultures, races, and ethnicities, in order to get a better understanding of how the world works.
