so you pay for the certificate, rather than course itself?
Yeah they are trying to give people the hookup but most people are too stupid or not motivated.

You have to sign up to those programs by September 15 2019 and have them completed by December 19 2019.
Afterwards, MS is switching up the game and will be using Microsoft Learn. I just went to the site. Not very impressive so far. A quick glance shows a complete shake up (ie. some classes gone, others remixed) from what's on EdX.

If you're looking for certificates, you have to do that soon. Who knows if the classes will be available (for free) after the deadlines.

Yeah it's best to just enroll in all of them even if you don't plan on starting right away.
