Snapper: centers always have to have the game brought to them. you've never seen a center dribble more than once or twice. they don't pass the ball very well, but what they can do is catch it and dunk it.

Vince Carter and Mourning had the most votes, I get that Vince had many fans but hard to grasp how Mourning could have more than Shaq and AI.

Or how Grant Hill always had the second most in the 90s. Even more than Jordan one year
Not hard to imagine Grant, he was on his way.

This looks awesome in HD. Also, one glaring difference from back then is how much less advertising there is on and around the court. In 2025, they whore themselves out with ads.
NBA always had rotating ads on the scorers table.

Got damn I forgot how different it looked defensively

This is jarring

About 3 min the announcers made a joke about them not playing defense then lol but I'll take this over that BS we get today anytime..
Just in the first minute you see double teams being sent and big men trying to block shots. Don't let anyone gaslight you on the travesty the All-Star Game has become.

Yes, they were trying for spectacular plays and it wasn't playoff intensity but everybody, by and large, was giving genuine effort. What's happened the last few years is embarrassing.
