no its not.
the 80s was not all of that.

Every region produced classic albums/songs in the 2000s.

You cant say thay for the 80s, as far as hip hop goes
one or two regions were putting out way more classics in the 80s than several regions putting a few classics in 00s. Not everybody should be rapping.

Breh, tbh, outside of NYC not very many places were making classics in the 80s. Hell even NYC wasnt putting out that much.

:mjlol:

NWA, Ice T, King T, Geto Boys, 2 Live Crew, DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince, Schooly D, Too Short, Digital Underground were all making classic sh1t outside of NYC.

As for NY they were putting out waaaaaaaaaaay more classics than they did in the 00s. You didn't come up during the era so understandable why you lack true perspective on 80s rap music.

u need to step your 80s music game up ...you'll thank me later.
Depends on which Lionel when it comes to music...Can't Slow Down Lionel era:banderas: or Dancing on the Ceiling era Lionel:camby:

The early 80s Boogie/Funk/R&B period was dope ass fuc after the :huhldup:era of Disco. Check my eariler post for examples. The mid 80s had MJ and Prince but also had that beige period of safe adult contemporary music. Very watered down. They hated Rap, but rap music was starting to come into it's on with Run DMC and LL and then late 80s brought us the golden era of rap music and new jack swing came thru to give R&B some new life. Black music was just much better in the 80s than the 00s plus rap music hadn't completely sold itself to the devil yet.

shyt, you can take out MJ, Janet, Whitney and Prince (some major titans :wow:) and the 80s still murders the 2000s :sadcam:.

You still got jheri curl funk (as i like to call it) such as Slave, Whispers, Rene and Angela, SOS band, Midnight Star etc......then you got the MOR classic artist like Luther, Chaka, Lionel, Freddie Jackson, ANITA BAKER who dropped one of the best albums of all time with the Rapture.........then you got some of the GOAT reggae music (black music) that ever existed, come on over to rap in the late 80s which is the dawn of the golden era with PE, Slick Rick, Kane, Juice Crew, NWA, Too Short, etc etc.......and shyt THEN you got New Jack Swing? It aint even close homie.

I can say the same for the 2000s.

Millions of people think the 2000s are better. Just liek millions think the 80s are better

the problem is, the millions of people that think the 2000s are better are people who are way too far-removed from actually experiencing the '80s and dont know much about it.
