What some forgot is the Sixers had the defensive player of the year and were actually a very solid defensive team. Warriors are overrated defensively as we saw last year and again tonight. Nobody can deal with Shaq.

derek fisher was unconscience from 3 that post season (Especially against the spurs)

Kobe is gonna guard curry and Klay and KD all at once? Shaq couldn't average 50+ under the old rules against the trash ass nets or Pacers. He's not going to do that against a team that defends Luke the warriors. Who scores besides Shaq and Kobe? Let's say that combine for 55. Who gets the 60-65 that they'll need from the rest of the team? Leaning on Ron Harper, Derek fisher, rick fox, Robert horry, and Horace Grant doesn't sound all that appealing.Simple. They have guys who can defend GS but nobody on GS can stop Shaq from getting 50+ and 20 rebounds. Kobe cancels out Durant. Actually, Kobe is better, me saying "canceling out" is just being nice.

Another thing, I find this part of the equation funny actually. People say the Warriors will shoot all these 3s but then somehow attempt to compare it like the Lakers wouldn't have shot more 3s in a series against GSW. And Shaq was a great passer. And the Lakers had guys to shoot more 3s.
So saying "oh they only averaged this amount against the Sixers" doesn't work. They'd be shooting a higher volume in this era and the rebounding edge would heavily favor the Lakers.

Reality, Derek Fisher made 2.2 threes a game for the playoffs, 2. This "unconscious" scorer averaged 13ppg for the playoffs as the 3rd option...

you're not getting it. He's making 2.2 threes because it's "required" for the style they are playing.
They wouldn't have shot threes like the Warriors, you're trying to compare a team built to take 15 a game, to one that takes 30 a game.

Their highest combined average in a series was about 60 against San Antonio in 2001 and New Jersey in 2002. Nobody is averaging 75, and especially not without a three point shot, which LeBron and Irving both have. They'd have to be combining to take 55-60 shots otherwise.
They played the triangle, why don't you check the bottom of the league and see that the Knicks are stuck playing dated basketball because Phil doesn't want them shooting 3s like that.
Their style of play was dictated by their coach, and the talent they had on the floor, they would never be able to get into a 3 point shootout with the Warriors.
