Speaking of which, what happened to that chick? I know she drop one radio single after that Lil Flip track but after that she just vanished off the face of the Earth.

Hell even Lumidee still puts out a track hear and there.:mindblown:

I was in the streets and listening to mixtapes, mostly D Block & Desert Storm plus the new dipset nikkas(at that time) Jr & Hell Rell had fire on the dipset compilations. I don't remember listening to any of the commercially released albums apart from the big ones like Confessions & College Dropout so I managed to avoid all the trash coming out in the mainstream. To me it was a great time but I wouldn't argue against anyone calling it wack.

yea thats what im saying.

sure i was :scusthov: @ most of the stuff on the airwaves, but i didnt have time to dwell on it cuz there was way too much heat for the streets.

the mainstream garbage really didnt hit me like that until about 2007, when there was no longer much to compensate for it.

G-Unit.

Okay, let's talk present day. What would you say is the best thing about being on G- Note records?

I think it’s great. I’m working with somebody that has such a drive. The fact that [50 Cent] believes in me is great. To have me be apart of this brand's new label and be the first female artist on the label feels really good. Everybody that I work with is so humble and starting together feels good rather than being on a huge label with eight million artists and you get lost in the cut. This is great. It feels like it’s a family. You’re able to speak to people one-on-one.

So you've you met everyone from the other G-Unit crew?
Yeah. I travel with them. When we travel together it can be hard because people are always following them. It’s like the last situation where I’m surrounded by a bunch of guys, so I try to stay with my little team. But it is pretty cool [that] they look out for me. 50 is always looking out and making sure that I have everything that I need. It’s like having big brothers around. They’re hilarious, they crack you up [and] it feels like a family party.

One of the last times I remember being fully into new music... of course there were a few flukes nshyt, but I was still watching videos regularly, in the club often, coppin' mixtapes every week, and still buying albums. Lotta good shyt out in '04- I'd say one of the last real good years.
