Do you have 11k for this OP or can you find a better deal elsewhere..:patrice:

The most i'm willing to spend is 12k for everything including fees/taxes/registration.

If I cop the Lexus at $10,900 its going to run me $12,037.72.

I'm on a tight budget. Most of my bread is tied up in investments. And I only want to take out a certain amount in savings.

ok. take this for example

2013 Honda Accord for Sale in North Carolina - CarGurus

it has over 20,000 more miles on it, even though it's 6 years newer than the lexus.

which one is going to last longer?
It’s a toss up, they’ll likely be equally reliable. You might have to travel to get one w less miles. Look on Facebook marketplace, OfferUp and Craigslist. You can go on eBay and pay $5-10 for a carfax.

You don’t wanna finance? You can put down about $4k on a $15k car and you payment will be what, $220 a month?

The carfax doesn't give you the whole picture. For this car I had to go to the dealer site and pull records.

If the previous owner has a bad engine/transmission or major repairs on the horizon. If they take it to a mom and pop mechanic shop, the carfax won't reveal the diagnosis and show they simply cleared the codes or made a short term repair fix.

And nah. I don't want no payments right now. If that's the case I could just lease again. I'm pretty much done spending a lot of money on cars. It's not worth it anymore to me.

For this Lexus tho, the price is pretty much the same across he board. I saw a few there $500 - $1,000 less, but they either had more miles or were too far away.

Back seat of a Caddy
I copped one of these last year a 2010. So far so good, I only had to replace the battery and a coolant hose. The ride is smooth perfect and for road trips. My biggest complaint is it will drink gas, it’s a thristy bytch and requires premium. For that price though I would say shop around a little more. I paid less for a 2010 with about 92k on the odometer

At the end of the day I wouldn’t spend 10k on anything before 2010

No deal breh that price should be at lease $7900, go for the LS400 2008+ you can get for 10 racks

:francis:Ya'll kept me from pulling the trigger so far.

What about this.

This seems too good to be true. Something gotta be wrong with it and they trying to dump it.

Based on the miles, there are certain repairs that are imminent if they haven't already been done.

Read the description, rebuilt title so it was in an accident. Sometimes it don’t be that bad. I’ve bought a crashed car and rebuilt it myself, car wasn’t hit that bad. I’ve seen others where cars were mangled lol. But if you have the vin you can look up previous copart auctions and see the original pics before it was repaired.

That’s true about the carfax, but at least can tell if the car is rebuilt, was totaled etc. and if they did take it to spots that report to carfax or whatever that’s a plus.

Oh I read it. But it's all about what time of damage. Flood? Frame issues. Too many unknown variables.
