Oh I read it. But it's all about what time of damage. Flood? Frame issues. Too many unknown variables.
You can ask him for the vin and see for yourself. Then offer him less :yeshrug: Rebuilts are a bytch to sell because everybody low balls n shyt. So he will take a good offer.

https://en.bidfax.info/ That’s the site I use to look at original pics/damage

Lexuses hold value bro

that's what i've been trying to explain to people I know. They all say it's too old to pay that much.

I pretty much researched damn near everything on the car so I know what I would be getting into to convince them otherwise and they still saying I would be stupid to cop it :snoop:

I been searching all over the internet and can't find one with the same miles, with only 2 owners that's been mostly serviced at a Lexus dealership for less money.

The key to finding a good used car is knowing if the previous owner(s) took care of the car.

11g for a 2007 is too much

the used car market in general is over priced.

trying to find a deal is like trying to find a needle in a haystack.

The prices are set up for buyers to take out unnecessary loans. I told the sales rep I could buy it with no problems, I just wasn’t feeling the price. He tried to convince me to put down $8000 on another car and finance :dahell:

I was shocked when he didn’t want to budge on the price tho. They make you think they’re giving you the lowest possible price when it’s bullshyt.

And on top of that, they have that standard dealer fee. Theirs is $600. :mindblown:

And they didn’t want to budge on that either. I’m gonna wait them out tho. See how long it sits on the lot before they drop the price.

breh, I copped a 2008 Bimmer. My advice;

DON’T DO IT.

I get it, you want a whip and you’re thinking “aye this is not a lot of money and I’d be set. I’d have a luxury whip, for little price”

If it seems to good to be true, it likely is.

Two options:

1. You get the car and it’s fine. Now you have a 2007 car. Driving a 2007 car sounds just like how that sounds. It is 2021, your car will remind you how old it is daily.. No bluetooth. No Maps. Aux if you’re lucky. It’ll drive but the majority of cars you see are newer. You’ll have that “wanted a Lexus, but couldn’t afford a 2010!?” energy. Now if it looks DOPE on the outside, you can get away with it, but the inside will reveal that it’s just an older car.

2. The car is a dud. This happened to me. It’ll be a money dump. Getting parts is harder. You’ll be annoyed that you spent $11K on bullshyt. And it’ll become an emotional energy drain and you’ll think “it’s a 2007... wtf was I thinking!?”

My advice:

Wait. Add $9K to this.

Cop a RELIABLE car. A 2017.

I know this sucks; you want a dope whip. Problem is dope whips cost $$ so better to now spend on a RELIABLE car, stack bread and in 3-4 years cop a really new, modern, dope ass whip.

That right there kills your whole argument.

You can't compare a Japanese car go a German when it comes to long term reliability.

Lexuses are fancy Toyotas. Finding parts shouldn't be a problem

This particular car checks all of the boxes, and I'm at an age where I don't give a shyt what people think.

And nah. I don't want no payments right now. If that's the case I could just lease again. I'm pretty much done spending a lot of money on cars. It's not worth it anymore to me.

I understand not wanting a payment, but if you have good credit you can get a loan for like 2.19% APR. Take the cash you were planning on spending on the car and put it in a solid dividend stock and end up getting a bigger return on that investment than you would have paid out in interest on the car loan.
Just a thought.

Breh I got 8 credit cards and a condo that I don't even live in. I'm not trying to add anymore loans to my portfolio. I'm good. My credit score is 730.

I also have investments.

I just want something that's going to last 5 or 6 years. I don't even drive more than 15k miles a year so it would take me 5 years to push this car to 200k miles.

If it's still there tuesday I will probably cop it.
