I think rockets with a healthy Yao would've won in 6. We were too deep and had no answer for Aaron brooks or Yao. Fisher couldn't handle brooks or Lowry. Y'all had no answer for Yao in the high post or low post.
Kobe made the play of the series when he drove recklessly into yaos knees.
I don't think y'all remember how talents that rockets team was. We had Landry, and Lowry off the bench along with wafer and Brent Barry.
Y'all had tube edit of missing out on Yao Mutumbo and tmac.
Brandon Roy said after he retired that rockets team was the most talented team he faced on the postseason and they went against that Dallas team that beat Miami .
A top 2 SG? The bytch in you can never hide, huh?
That's what I said earlier.
You didn't watch us at all if you believe that. We basically took the best matchup available. Dan the high post offense and took the new shot available.your go to guy was Ron Artest
Somebody had to win that year.![]()
The Lakers kept Yao in check in Games 3 & he was shutdown in Game 2...you keep naming individuals the Lakers so called couldn't handle but the Rockets couldn't handle the Lakers as a team. That's why the Lakers advanced and were holding up the Larry O'Brien in June. The Rockets had an outside chance when Yao went down. You'd have a better case if you said the Rockets would of won if they had home court and Yao was out the lineup.I think rockets with a healthy Yao would've won in 6. Yes vivid memories, but he didn't win anything. Kob lead his team to success. Trumps it all.Did you see what wade was doing in 09 Brah, he should have been MVP
You bragging about containing Yao after he hurt hurt knees in game one. U stupid as shyt. Yao was our best player. Why would anybody think we're better off without a healthy Yao. Y'all didn't pay attention that series. This is why I didn't debate with lakers fans. Y'all rewrite history too much. Yao was hurt in game 2 and 3 and y'all trying to credit that too y'all advantageMight as well been the best player in the league

You are the only one trying to rewrite history. Y would I want to re write the Lakers winning in 2009?? Yall were not going to win the series either way...get over it.You bragging about containing Yao after he hurt hurt knees in game one. U stupid as shyt. Yao was our best player. The Rocket fan doesn't want to hear that...he still lives in that make believe fantasy he built up in his head.Lakers got fooled because the Rockets went to small ball in that series. Had Yao stayed they would've been better prepared in that series.
Bynum averaged 6 and 3 that year in 17mpg in those playoffs. Regardless of his talent, dude's production didnt matchSo after the top 10 all-time player, and the two versatile bigs capable of 20/10 the talent dropped off huh?Of course the no salary cap teams of the past had more talent but at the time who can you honestly say had more? Only team I can think of is Boston and KG was hurt. The fact that they were able to do what they did with Bynum being hurt is a testament to the talent on that squad.
After Lebron, Wade, and Bosh who is the Heat's best player...Shane Battier? Mario Chalmers? This aint' baseball. Talent at the top is really all that matters in the NBA.

Since when did you stop being a fan? who do you root for now?
