You need to give me a run down of who is who.

I'm so lost when it comes to college football. I'll be up to speed next season on who is who.

Back from A&M. Just read Jets liked him. Played well in the shrine game...he played well all year actually.

He was hurt so he didn't get to play alot. But he's been great in the Senior Bowl & Combine. Jets have interviewed him more than than once, they really like him.

I wouldn't mind taking him at all.

Yeah, just think Bill sucks with his picks honestly.

That dude has had just a plethora of busts over the years

LOL@ your analysis.

Bill had like 1 bad draft and then a normal amount of busts, half of them because they couldnt stay on the field.

He's been so so in the 2nd and 3rd round but excellent in the first and excellent from the 4th on.

Bill never misses on his first round picks.

2001 6 Richard Seymour DT Georgia
2002 21 Daniel Graham TE Colorado [29]
2003 13 Ty Warren DT Texas A&M [30]
2004 21 Vince Wilfork DT Miami (FL) [31]
32 Benjamin Watson TE Georgia
2005 32 Logan Mankins OG Fresno State
2006 21 Laurence Maroney RB Minnesota
2007 24 Brandon Meriweather S Miami (FL) [32]
2008 10 Jerod Mayo LB Tennessee [33]
2009 No first-round draft pick [34]
2010 27 Devin McCourty CB Rutgers [35]
2011 17 Nate Solder OT Colorado
2012 21 Chandler Jones DE Syracuse
25 Dont'a Hightower DE Alabama

Maroney and to an extent Merriweather are his only so so 1st rounders, and even they showed more than a glimpse of being good.

Thats a pretty damn good list and Merriweather even made a pro bowl. Hell, Merriweather still got it too, he played one half this season for the Skins and balled the fukk out (had a pick and like 7 tackles and was always around the ball)

At 9?

I mean, WR is something they could use, but the Jets only have 7 picks and other more pressing needs.

Even if we pick Hopkins, Holmes and either Edwards/Hill will start with Kerley at the slot. Jets should push back WR til 2014.

Round 1-5 should be dedicated towards drafting starters at key positions (RB, guard, TE, OLB, S are MUSTS)

We need talent on offense. Who says we bring back Edwards, and Hill is not answer. You draft for best player available. We done drafted too much defense give offense some burn.

Thats what I'm saying. Sure, he hasn't draft a wideout to save his life, and hes gone through a shyt ton of DB's taken in the last 5 years in rounds 3 & 4.

But your team gets fukkED when it misses on a first round pick. Considering how many times he was picking in the late part of the round, to still come away with zero busts (one under performing RB who still showed you something serviceable) has a lot to do with why they stay successful.

Do I wish he took Mike Wallace instead of Brandon Tate in the 3rd round? Absolutely. Still doesn't mean he 'sucks at drafting' lol.

star lotulelei got a heart condition 2013 NFL draft combine -- Star Lotulelei has heart condition, won't work out Monday - ESPN

Star Lotulelei, one of the elite prospects for the 2013 NFL draft, will not be allowed to work out Monday at the scouting combine after an echocardiogram revealed that the former Utah defensive tackle has a heart condition that requires more testing.

2013 NFL Draft and Combine
Rd. 1: April 25, 8 p.m. ET
Rds. 2-3: April 26, 7 ET
Rds. 4-7: April 27, noon ET

• John Clayton's combine observations
• Five-year combine averages

Lotulelei's agent, Bruce Tollner, confirmed to ESPN's Joe Schad that the first team All-American had an abnormal test result as part of his physical and will visit a specialist this week.

Tollner told The Associated Press in an email that Lotulelei would not take questions regarding the diagnosis yet. The Tonga native was scheduled to fly to Utah on Monday night, Tollner said.

Lotulelei was discovered to have an abnormally low Ejection Fraction, detecting that the left ventricle of his heart was pumping at only 44 percent efficiency, sources said. The normal range is between 55-70 percent efficiency.

The 6-foot-2, 311-pound Lotulelei will undergo further testing in Salt Lake City in an effort to seek more clarity with the condition, a source said. If it's a confirmed chronic condition, medical experts consider it an indication of possible heart damage.

Tollner said Lotulelei was asked by combine officials not to participate until consulting a specialist. Lotulelei still will be interviewed by NFL teams in Indianapolis and plans to participate at Utah's Pro Day on March 20.

Lotulelei is the No. 1 overall player as ranked by Scouts, Inc., and has been rated as a top-5 draft prospect by ESPN draft experts Mel Kiper Jr. and Todd McShay.

ESPN's Joe Schad contributed to this report.

He's got a heart condition:ufdup:
Didn't read it, that's why.

I assumed it was just the same article they posted yesterday. And now reading it, it looks exactly like what was posted yesterday. Actually it was, just edited today. But nothing looks different..

Welp, we'll see how serious this is when further test results come up.

Not bad..ironically the one thing thats held the Pats back the past few years is their D[especially the secondary] and Bellis known as a defensive coach:beli:
