Gotcha and all but FCS teams (6 I think is the count) have the chance of playing 17 games if they reach the title game so games played isn't really a concern of people in charge. Just an easy cop out for them to use when peeps wanted a playoff

My point exactly. Get rid of 1 of those BS Bethune Cookman, and Buffalo type games, and you have 15 max. Just 2 more then FSU and Ohio St. will play anyway.

Plus, only the 2 teams in the title game would play 15. The rest 12-14. Same amount as now.

It's being getting rid of anyway w/ conferences gearing up to play 9-game conference schedules (Big 10 the exception). So say bye bye to games like Okie St-FSU next year. Teams just won't take the chance against stiffer comp unless they're in a shyt conference

Big Ten is going to play 9 game conference schedules as well.

Season ticket holders for your school FSU deserve to have games like Okla. St to see for their money/ athletic fund "contributions", and not Bethune Cookman. The fans (in stadium and at home) needs those games to keep interest and to help cut down some of these debates. ( I am basing this from a cbssports.com article about FSU and their weak non-conf schedule I read today).

I dont understand why these schools dont realize they can make more money playing bigger schools non-conference.

Agreed. That games in Cowboys Stadium. More likely a $$$$ grab by the athletic dept since a few yrs back, they were in the red due to the Bobby thing. I think schools get close to 4-5 milly to play there. Easy money especially if your fans travel. FSU alums are deep. Was in Dallas kickin it with some during the Clemson game. Met a few who were members of the Vancouver Seminole alumni association
