He's a glorified middle man. You need recruits, he's your guy. He wasn't successful as a QB coach (EJ Manuel). His only responsibility on the FSU coaching staff was to recruit. I believe the same at Auburn. He was brought in to replace Trooper. He's good at what he does but he hasn't done anything as far as game planning, development, etc to even show that he would be a HC. His positions are only in name only
