It has nothing to do with stanning. That's what you guys don't realize. I just flat out think most of you are quick to judge and just straight up wrong on many of these subjects. You guys are wrong because you take what you can say for certain and then use it to make definitive statements about what you can only speculate about, and often people ignore context and history. I'll give a perfect example, I watched you co-sign a lot of people who were mad at Jay about the Barney's situation (by dapping) and his statement, but do a quick twitter search and it's like night and day to here. If I say that on here, then I'd be stanning. If I say that on there, it's just another of many opinions that people take at face value and analyze. That is what I call e-groupthink because I have as varied a group of friends as any (non-Jay fans among them), but they don't go anywhere near the length posters on here go and one isn't a "stan" or "hater" from diverging from what the rest of us believe sometimes.
Why do you think I just don't post in those threads anymore.....I finally realized why people must have hated teenagers like me when we were stanning Joe Budden on the internet circa 2005. It's this obnoxious self-righteousness that if you look under it, is just an attempt to create a detailed analysis through extrapolation from minimal facts. But I grew up, and too many of you guys are still trapped in that sort of mindse. Even simpler, would any of you be comfortable if you lost a case in court based on the quality of information you use to form opinions about any of these people on here....I don't mean "this guy is a cornball".....I mean saying "this individual is a heartlesss so and so." I'm not wired to accept that sort of analysis...and it pervades every post I make and how I am in real life. When Jay made those comments in Vanity Fair, I said "he shoulder know better at this point, and he should have more savvy," and some dude got mad at me for saying he went too far by calling him a porch monkey.
When everyone on this board reacts like that when it comes to Jay, you standout when you're not like them, and that is why I stand out. Not a single soul called me a Jay-Z stan before we switched from SOHH and I was the exact same person then, it's only when I tried to get people to be reasonable (the harry b's, and whatever doeboy is calling himself now included) did people begin to perpetuate that myth. I just wrote entirely too much, but fukk it.
