Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
He's going for that back to back title. Swagnificent got a stranglehold on the #WPOY game. :mjlol:

He's setting himself up for a dynasty, I mean the shyt he's saying here is just :mindblown: then you gotta remember he brings this level of shyt to every section of the forum he goes into.

The fact he's typing out paragraphs tells me he's not even trolling, dude is just flat out awful.

RIght, now...I still think Wiggins will eventually become a star in the NBA. He's extremely athletic and his shooting mechanics aren't going to need tons of work. That's a great place to start. Guys less talented than him like OJ Mayo and DeRozan are still capable of scoring 20+ppg a game. He's going to do that fairly quickly IMO. His play on defense is also great at a young age.

But saying he's a much better prospect than today's MVP, who was a top prospect in both HS and college and has proven himself to be one of the most talented perimeter players we've seen in the past 20 years or so(along with Jordan, Kobe, Wade, and Bron) is ignorant.

STOP COMPARING WIGGINS TO PRESENT DAY DURANT.

got damn. you guys are fukkkin morons. Of course, GIVEN WHAT I KNOW NOW, I'd take a 19 year old Durant over 19 year old Wiggins if I had both of them available. We already know Durant hasn't been plagued by injuries. We already know Durant has crazy work ethic and has improved his game immensely since coming into the league. We already know Durant is a competitor who wants to be the best and is driven to succeed.

We know all that TODAY, but we didn't know it when he was coming out. All we know when he was coming out was he's a gangly 6'10" kid with crazy length and a sublime jump shot. We didn't know if he'd be a 3 or a 4 in the league. We didn't know if he could withstand the physicality of the league. We didn't know if he would develop a sublime handle. We didn't know if he was a guy with heart and determination to be great or a dude like Beasley that cared more about smoking weed. We simply didn't know. But we do now.

all I'm saying is I'm alot more confident about Wiggins NBA future TODAY than I was about Durant in 2007.

Wiggins handle is HORRIBLE at the moment :scusthov:

Thats one thing that if you dont have it by now its hard to become elite in.

He does have everything else that you would want in an elite wing though. But a weak handle is the #1 thing that stopped alot of great wings from being special.

SO until he at least becomes average in that I'm not trying to hear all this Kobe MJ talk

not necessarily. Paul George and Durant both improved their handle tremendously while being in the league. I love this revisionist history on Durant now that he's a 7 year pro and reigning MVP. I'd love for someone to up them old threads on SOHH circa 2007 and 2008. Dude had just as many people questioning his game as Wiggins. People need to stop allowing what we know now totally blind them of what was going on back in 2007 when Durant was coming out. There weren't many people projecting him to becoming the player he eventually became.

Players get better. When you project players going forward, what you should look at is what can their ceiling can be based on their god given physical attributes. Its based on that logic that I'm saying Wiggins can become the next Jordan. He might not. But that will be because of his complacency or injuries. It won't be because he lacks the natural ability to do so.

so in 2 years when I'm proved right, will I be given a permanent Seum's GOAT banner?

D-Rose and Wiggins college stats per 40 mins:

Rose - 20.4ppg (56.0 ts%), 6.2rpg, 6.5apg, 1.6spg, 0.5bpg
Wiggins - 20.8ppg (56.3 ts%), 7.1rpg, 1.9apg, 1.4spg, 1.2bpg

I project Wiggins to have a similar start to his NBA career as Rose. Both are super athletic slashers whose game is more conducive for the NBA than college.

This is Rose's first 3 seasons:
1st year - 16.8ppg (51.6 ts%), 3.9rpg, 6.3apg
2nd year - 20.8ppg (53.2 ts%), 3.8rpg, 6.0apg
3rd year - 25.0ppg (55.0 ts%), 4.1rpg, 7.7apg MVP

not saying Wiggins will win MVP by his 3rd season, but expect a similar progression (and most likely a quicker ascend to superstardom).

I can see Wiggins dropping 18/5/3 his rookie season. Then 25/6/5 his second season. And his 3rd season going to 27/6/5 with all-nba 1st team defense.

Holy fukk

#WPOY2014 INDEED

I'm just gonna bite my tongue and just wait this out. I'm very confident in my projection. I watched every single game Wiggins played at Kansas. I've never really been this confident about a college player. I do however expect alot of groveling from you guys in 2 years when Wiggins is a superstar averaging 25ppg and I up this thread.
