NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!! We need Ariza.
Plus Deng is an injury risk at this point. His achilles is hurting, and his wrist probably still hasn't fully healed from the last 2 seasons when he refused to get surgery on it.

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
He's thinking he's gonna lose his job if he fukks it up lol

Trading Smith for a salary dump is a get out of jail free card, dude is gonna lose his job for keeping Smith when they miss the playoffs regardless. The Cavs are gonna take the Hawks spot, Pistons will continue to flounder with or without Smith, but at least moving him improves their future.

:mindblown:

You have no idea what you're talking about, and please don't bring up data and numbers when your entire post history is littered with ignoring data. The new CBA is going to make 2nd rounders very valuable, they are non guaranteed contracts, and the chance of finding a Goran Dragic, DeAndre Jordan or Nikola Pekovic in the 2nd round is worth the risk, considering you can just cut the player in question if they don't pan out.

And Hawes is due for a contract, which is a major reason why the Sixers dumped him.

so you'd go the needle in the haystack route than getting a sure thing?

I agree that finding the next Chandler Parsons is enticing but the chances are 1 in 30. Since the rest of the moron GMs are now gonna start overvaluing 2nd rounders, I'd trade every last one of them for proven commodities.

I'm not saying overpay, but I'd trade 2nd rounders for players I think could be productive role players at reasonable prices.

Yes, I'd go for the needle in the haystack over keeping Hawes and having to pay him $36 million over 4 years because his production on a bad team dictates that's what he's worth.

Ariza is having his best season and we're about to trade him. :wtf:

I would love to be an NBA GM...the trade deadline, scouting, and the draft must be fun as hell to participate in.
:usure:

I wouldn't say all that, cause if you fukk up you're fired and depending on how bad you fukk up you might not be able to get another GM job again.
