Two years ago Logan Thomas may have been the first pick if he came out and out of the NFL right now :heh:

He is not a NFL qb

Poor accuracy, can't pick up blitzes, can't make his reads

If he's smart he will go to combine as a te and be a second rounded

Stop BS'in breh, he wouldn't be even a 4th rounder as a TE prospect and he's just fine as a QB prospect for the type of QB he is.

He wouldn't have been a 1st rounder two years ago, that was Kiper :duck:

He has accuracy on deep balls which is where he needs it the most for his style of QB. He has improved in that regard greatly from two years ago. His reads are meh for now. This is another area he can improve in. This was something even Cam and Kaep was raw at in college as well. I think you are unfairly evaluating him due to his situation.

I could understand if he had a weak arm or a very good arm with poor velocity like Jason Campbell or Josh Freeman but he has the arm and velocity.

Not really. Freeman was more talented and more accurate as a passer but Thomas is more of a leader, works harder, has a big arm with velocity unlike Josh, and is a much better athlete. They both are big, mixed, and don't have a great feel for the game. Josh can play in any system, Logan well can't. His system needs to be based around the vertical passing game.

In Central, South GA and North Fl, the Bills have a strong fanbase. I was good friends with several Bills fans.

Thomas is a project, nobody is picking this kid thinking he is gonna be their franchise qb. Use a late pick on the kid and give him an opportunity to develop and best case scenario you have a dependable backup.

A recent quote via the WP.

That is one of the things he can do in fit the ball into a tight window. 60% completion rate for the type of QB he is with the cast he has isn't all that bad. He isn't in one of the QB friendly offenses. VT offense has never been known for being QB friendly.
Still don't see the quote where he said he is in love with playing QB. He's probably just thinking about that contract that QB's get.

St. Louis should draft Sammy Watkins number 2. They aint had a #1 reciever since Torry **** left. Them no names they got now aint got cut it, Tavon Austin is good but he's only meant for the slot. They need a true #1

LMAO @ Mason (5'9 205 lbs) being the best back in the draft. He plays bigger than his measureables but Gil Brandt needs to take off the SEC goggles.

It's very simple for them that I expect them to screw it up. Drafting Watkins maximizes the talents of Austin while Watkins would get to play on turf and not have to immediately carry the load as a #1 WR.

Now watch them trade down, get Anthony Barr with the #7 pick, and be lauded as draft day champions only to go 7-9 during the season while Watkins wins Offensive Rookie of the Year somewhere else.
