Just finished voting (25x) for my A's in the all star voting ballot. Norris at C, Yoenis & Coco at OF, Moss at DH, Lowrie @ SS and my main man Donaldson @ 3B. Also, just won my best offer bid for a Cool Base Donaldson Jersey. Got my tickets for the Derek Jeter farewell tour in June. Was at the Nationals vs A's game where Jaso had the walk off single in the 10th inning, Doolittle holding it down as the Closer, bats are ALIVE, LIFE IS GOOD!!! Imagine how sick this team would be if Jarrod Parker and AJ Griffin were playing!!!

another amazing night from Kaz, i was very skeptical about that signing but hes been great

Doolittle starting to own the closer role, more solid outings from Otero, Gregerson and Abad. outside of 1 terrible app Otero has been amazing should get considered for the All Star team

outside of 2nd i dont see much reason to make any moves, and i dont want to give up any of the top 5 prospects. barring injury id stand pat right now

Addison is back, not sure if hes going back to high A or AA id assume AA. Cook is activated im not sure who would go if O'Flaherty arrives. i guess Vogt would go back down

looks like tommy milone got sent down to triple A to make room for jeff samardjiza and jason hammel for now...since strailey was included in the deal, who takes his spot in the bullpen? kazmir has been pretty good but so is jeff and hammel

i'm sure someone else will get moved to bring back milone...hopefully johnson the a's are stacked with pitching.

Milone was sent down because hes under full control, if they had done that for Chavez or another vet they would have lost their rights to them (would have been claimed). makes sense for now, Utley has looked really bad the past few months. questionable range, weird contract. honestly i think Neil Walker, Murphy or Dozier would come cheaper or would have more managable contracts

the ro order doesnt matter until the postseason, but Kaz is the #2 hes been great all year. they may go 4 deep, Hammel pitched pretty well in the offs in '12 for BAL

the other low key upgrade could be in right, Byrd has been very solid for the Phils all year. 12M for the next year and a half, i dont think they would ask too much for him. one of the starters straight up should be enough

i like Gentry's D but hes a light hitter, and Reddikk is looking more and more like a 1 year wonder who cant stay healthy.

heres an interesting piece, look at Daniel Robertson's (new top prospect) line this year verses Addison's last year in Stockton. much of a difference? ok no speed and less pop, but overall thats very comparable. hes a year behind him but should make some noise in '16

2013: Addison Russell: .275/.377/.508, 17 HR, 21 SB, 61 BB, 116 K
2014: Daniel Robertson: .302/.406/.480, 12 HR, 1 SB, 48 BB, 56 K

also forgot to add we essentially have 7 starters with Pom, i like him and would prefer to keep him to compete for a spot next year when Hammel likely leaves. but he and Chavez or Milone could yield an elite 2b

i've only seen maybe 2 phillies games so i can't recall how utley or byrd looked but i would definitely rather replace reddikk right now if we have a player like robertson in the minors beane da gawd is out here playing chess with these teams.

reddikk's defense "saves runs" but his offense is terrible jeff sam is pitching tonight so i'll be tuning in.

Byrd plays a good RF, hes not Gentry or Yoenis but his glove doesnt kill you

Utley could work with Melvin, he needs to take about every 5th or 6th game off to stay effective. they have had some injuries to utility players, and i think hes getting rundown a bit. Melvin loves to switch lineups around, Callaspo playing once a week is fine. another option would be Rollins, would give us elite D @ SS and allow Lowrie to move over to 2nd. lots of possibilities, and theres still some chips to use to get them

Shark cant pitch in the game due to a league rule, but will attend and be recognized as an AS. thats cool they didnt punish him for getting no run support. thought Moss would miss out, glad he made it. was going to lobby for Sonny or Otero on the final spot ballot but Chris Sale got left off the roster.

probably the lineup they'll use the most. im not buying Gomes/Fuld as the platoon in left. Vogt is still hot and cannot be taken out. this would change a bit against lefties but most of the pitching in the AL playoffs will be RH

what people seem to be overlooking is that there is over 25M being freed up by Johnson/Ces/Gregerson and some others

i want Gregerson back, closer role is filled for cheap now. whole lotta $ for Lowrie and an OF...

the whiners on A's Nation keep saying take advantage of a 2 year window, i say based on what. they werent supposed to make the playoffs in '12 and werent supposed to be this good now. money has been freed and there are about 6 guys tearing shyt up in Stockton right now
