ESPN headline:
"Should Anti-Social behavior by student-athletes be rewarded in College Sports?"
Penn State RB Hingle McCringleberry before the East-West all star game
"After their dramatic win over Iowa last week, senior running back Hingle McCringleberry quietly packs up his locker and heads to the bus. Unlike his teammates, he doesn't boast or brag about the win. This behavior has become the norm for the Compton, California native, and son of a single mother. Over the past three years, the Heisman favorite and current rushing leader McCringleberry has granted only five interviews by this network, and none of them have proven to be noteworthy. One might think he has something to hide. In addition, he has no social networking accounts and hasn't been seen partying in Happy Valley as his teammates has. This poses the question:
Are student athletes naturally this anti-social, or is this behavior indicitive of a greater problem? Should we be concerned about the safety of those around the elusive Hingle McCringleberry?
