You've started conference play and have already played multiple cupcake games

Starting conference play is a meaningless statement...Texas A&M and South Carolina played a conference game in week one...are the supposed to never play another out of conference game again?

I can't deal with this reasoning...you're picking out one school and comparing their scheduling against an entire conference's scheduling...it's ridiculous.

Its more of an indictment of the fans and media. Fans of teams of the $ec claim they are the toughest conference, yet not only are a lot of the teams in said conference overrated and haven't accomplished anything in the bigger "scope" of college football but then most of their non conference games are weak. From a fan perspective how can you make that claim?

And there is NO REASON 8-10 is the best nebraska can do.

It's a different world Nebraska was great when not every school was on TV more scholarships were available etc

They're not getting those Cali kids anymore who can get as much exposure anywhere in the PAC 12 even the lesser schools

yeah I just saw only him and Nick Saban have won 9 games plus for 6 years straight.The next guy they hire won't be that much better Nebraska isn't a great recruiting area and the school doesn't carry the same weight,

However I can understand where Nebraska fans coming from, it seems like in "big games" they get blown out a lot. I think an occasional big ten championship is not unreasonable

Thats not a theoretical advantage, its p*ssy scheduling. A theoretical advantage is playing a weak power 5 team like purdue, or a wac/sun belt team. There's no reason to be playing Div 1AA opponents in november

Let's be real, y'all know y'all would be up the SEC azz if the conference used the first 3 weeks of the season to play weak OOC games. It would be the whole "oh they'lve built their resume by beating pancakes etc".

Florida does that every year tho, outside of the miami years

what are you even arguing here?...their non conference schedules are about as weak as most teams' non conference schedules

the SEC continually has a good record against other power five conferences in the non conferences and in bowl games which where fans make the claim.

agreed...but you are acting like the SEC is the only one scheduling D 1AA opponents...EVERY CONFERENCE DOES THIS...ALL OF THEM...I listed the teams earlier. If your beef is with scheduling those opponents in general...I totally agree. But framing it around the SEC is silly.
