I'm pretty sure any top FCS team can give the bottom of a Top 5 trouble (NDSU, Richmond, UNI, Eastern Washington, Villanova) that doesn't mean they can spend a whole season in that power conference. You said Arkansas remained "competitive" with Auburn. Arkansas lost to Auburn by FOUR scores(3 TD's & a FG) and was shut down in the 2nd half.

In the world of common sense, how is losing by 3 TD and being shut out in the 2nd half "competitive"?

different teams personnel though, tcu was fn people up with andy dalton, josh boyce etc. they still have the best d in the big 12 since they've been there its just that they haven't got decent qb at all.

as well with utah they had great qbing and now not so much

and of course going against weaker opponents helps as well, how many teams go undefeated in the big 12 or pac 12 every year

blake sims looks very very nice in a hurry up offense and as well when he uses his feet.

i really think if bama ran more hurry up theyd simply kill teams you cant compete with thier athletes

look at tcu last year, lost 37-27 to lsu, lost 20-10 to texas tech, lost 20-17 to oklahoma in norman, lost 24-10 to oklahoma, lost 30-7 to texas, lost 30-27 to west virgina, lost 33-31 to kansas state, lost 41-38 to baylor

I really like the idea of Bama running the HUNH, plus with our trio RBs, we'd gash teams offensively. The key to having a good HUNH offense is personnel, we have the personnel to do it.

yeah i saw in the wv game when bama was running more of a uptempo they moved the ball at will, other team can subs out, receivers are to fast, rbs are to damn good.
