What the hell. Evan Turner is not conducive to winning at all. Jack of all trades in a specialised league.
:dwillhuh: jack of all trades are valued perhaps more than ever in today's NBA...
Its not even just that salaries are inflated, it's worse this year because the salary floor is increasing dramatically. The guys already under contract are now "underpaid" and the money they should be getting under normal inflation has to be handed out to free agents signed this year.
Real talk, it's really unfair players signed to long term deals prior to the cap increase should be allowed to restructure their deals...

Lmao @ using other shyt contracts to make you feel better about your teams shyt contract

But if pretty much every NBA contract is a "shiit contract" nowadays.. Then the average is really not a shiit contract afterall. You have to compare and contrast to the mean .. In 1980, top tier players would be lucky to get half a mill. NBA money from tv contracts etc. is simply growing and your average NBA fan is not yet used to it.

lol exactly .. Harrison Barnes bout to make double what steph curry making. These cats gota fire their agents on gp.
They'll get theirs eventually and the economy will normalize. But locking into long term contracts protects against market fluctuation. They could have done year to year deals to prepare for this like LeBron did but if they get hurt, they're fukked.

So...Even though Melo KNEW about the Cap increase impending...

He signed a long term deal with NY at less than the max...

And yet after all of these crazy contracts... is the narrative STILL going to be Melo was all about the money? :ohhh:

All this drip on me
Official themesong of this NBA offseason:

Get paid, young nikka, get paid
Whatever you do, just make sure you get paid

:salute:Compared to these filthy rich billionaire owners, I ain't even mad at the players seeing a fraction of what they're actually worth to the NBA.:eat:

Yea but they're still losing money .. Every year they not gettin max money that's a year of money they never gettin back. It's the agents fault, and ultimately, their fault for hiring the wrong agent
