Who's to say he won't?

Both Deng and Ingram can play multiple positions. Lakers needed another wing. Whether the Lakers got the right one is up for debate and remains to be seen.

or maybe they are thinking both are dukies so ingram will actually listen to deng. with kobe gone no way they couldnt bring in a vet that can still contribute. that locker room would be a mess

Deng and mozgov arent difference makers

No reason to give them huge money at 4 years

People were saying the same things about some of the signings last year, once the cap goes up again next year (maybe up to 112m)..this will be a moot point. And usually the max guys are interested teams withouth cap space to work with...for example, Durant is interested in Spurs, heat, Clippers, and Warriors. Neither of those teams have cap space, but could easily create it if durant says he's signing. I cant recall many situations where an elite player wanted to play somewhere and couldnt for financial purposes
