If deng starts it will be in place of ingram. They will get time on the floor together but not a bulk of it. The roster is designed for the young boys to play freely
So you'll shyt on the Evan Turner contract, but you like the Deng contract? Lmao
If the Lakers signed Evan instead of Deng you'd just be in here telling us how good of a singing that was too

Is Deng going to start? With that contract i'm sure he expects to but where does that leave Randle and Ingram to open the season. You would think they would want to start Brandon early and see what he is made of. Then they could put Luol at power forward in a small ball lineup. But I think Julius deserves to start too after putting up a double double in basically his rookie season. He's still young too and he could get up to the 16/12 level I believe as long as he gets the minutes. It's still going to be a long season for the Lakers. But at least they will be competitive and the games will probably be close.

Not me. Turner is a bum to me and can't shoot. I would of hated that signing plus he is a journeyman. I'm still waiting to see if the 4th years are team options(esp Mozgov) to see if these are solid to good deals or average to bad deals. I disagree with those who think they are terrible.

Pay deng comparable money to what you could have spent on harrison barnes if durant goes to the warriors, brehs.
Turner is at least a fit and a need can handle the ball for Lillard and mccollum

We got rotational vets overpaid a bit but i said Evan turner because it just shows how the market is right now. Unless were getting kd we were going to be about 3 or 4 years away from making noise anyway. Bout time our young core is ready to really make noise these contracts will be expiring. The lakers aren't trying to win a ring right now, everybody on this board know that wasn't going to happen, even if we signed kd. The lakers are trying to develop this young core and the roster is built for that. Cant keep tanking when your core is in place

Should have tanked one more season and replaced Randle he sucks imo
