Zaza ($2.9m/1-year) and Dedmon (?) aren't that far off of providing the same impact as Noah ($72m/4-year) and Biyombo ($72m/4-year) - Zaza especially, and GS is potentially getting both of them for a fraction of the price. You can't make this shyt up.

I need to make a thread on why these teams were in such a hurry to sign players and not let free agency shake out

The NBA free agency is more exciting but the NFL way of colluding so teams don't overpay players is the way management should handle free agency

I remember when 4 starters left the Blazers and everyone thought we would be one of the worst teams in the west. The Blazers ended up as the 4th seed.

I don't think all is bad in Miami. They may get better.

They will not get better. There is no Lillard-level player to keep them up (also they were 5th but that was still shocking). The goal is to probably stay in the playoffs, which relies on at least 2 of these 3 things;
Dragic returning to that All-NBA Team form from 2 (?) years ago
Winslow becoming Jimmy Butler basically ASAP
Bosh returning healthy and playing 65+ games

Mike Dunleavy is straight hot garbage & this trade won't do anything to help Cleveland get better team wise.

Do you think that Dunleavy is there to play a substantial amount of minutes for them off the bench?

He's pretty much looking at a Miami James Jones role, could have a few decent games and in the playoffs be a big help knocking down some shots
