Prolly a dumb question, but since the cap is rising over the next couple of years, couldn't that shyt fall as well. What if it dropped to like 85-90 mil over the next 3-5 years. How fukked are some of these teams gonna be?

Wouldn't matter anyway, because the NBA doesn't have a hard cap like the NFL does. You're allowed to go over the cap.

Even back when the cap was only like 60 mil, there were teams that had 100 million dollar payrolls

He'll get whatever the max allows, we could do the math right now. Just assume a 107 salary cap

He can get 35% of the 107M cap = 37.45M starting salary, with 7.5% raises each year after that
