If the 4th years are team options then they can dump the deals before they pay dangelo and its ok

Otherwise, this set the lakers back for 7 or 8 years

He really not tho. He talking bout tanking again. That's the worst idea we could've had. So yall really want the supposed future face of the franchise coming of a very up and down rookie year 2 follow up with another bottom of the league season for a pick that's not even promised. U might ruin d'angelo and still not get the pick. The most important thing this season is the development of the young core. If u want the young core then this What u get gotta wait for them 2 blossom. If u wanted 2 compete best option woulda been trading young core for a star player. No franchise changing free agents are coming to unproven young players. If u want the youth movement this is what u get.

Bro im not saying they have to tank, im saying play with what they got

I think russell is an all star
I think ingram is an all star
I think randle and clarkson are excellent pieces
I think nance is a great guy off the bench

Id rather let these guys show the league that they have the buidling blocks for a championship team and then sign REAL talent instead of signing a bunch of old injury prone dudes to huge deals

Gasol is old and injury prone. We are about 4 years away from contention with this core. Exactly when those contracts are up. The front office is not that dumb

If theyre 4 years from contending then you have to start signing outsiders before the rookie deals run out

D'Angelo russell gets paid in 19/20

Lakers shoulda been looking to sign guys in 17/18 and 18/19

Guys will be more comfortable coming to la once they see what russell and ingram can do

They dont have thay option now cuz theyre capped out
