In a mere decade since starting the transition from Division II, the Eagles have now made an NCAA basketball tournament appearance – a 2014 first-round loss to Iowa State, and the Eagles would have had a chance to beat just about any other No. 3 seed – won two MEAC regular-season basketball titles, entered the top 25 of the FCS rankings, won three MEAC football titles in three seasons under Mack and will now play for the Division I HBCU national title having won one in Division II in 2006. That’s an extraordinary amount of achievement for a school that’s really just getting started in Division I.

That was yall 3rd stringer, Raynard (the starter) missed last week and is out for the year, Kylil Carter (backup) only played in 2 games, he put in work and almost led yall to a win last year against us. A&T still will be at the top of the conference the next few years, that freshman recevier Bell gone be a problem.

We wrote the blueprint to shutting down A&T, contain Cohen, force yall to pass and it was a wrap.

A few misc HBCU notes

Shoutout to the old head, 55 yr old Joe Thomas Sr at SC State for becoming the oldest player in D1 history. SC State is gettin a lot of good press off of this

• Tuskegee won their 1st round playoff matchup 35-33 against Newberry. Winston-Salem lost to LIU Post, 48-41.
  
• SWAC East will come down to Southern and Grambling next week. The winner of that will meet Alcorn State Dec 3 in the SWAC Championship, I might make that trip

My boy used to play at A&T, in the 4th qtr he sent me and screenshot and texted me "A&T beat us" I damn near dropped my phone.

nikka forgot to put that -ing on the end smh. I'm kinda glad A&T won, I'd hate to see another tie. A&T with a trash Del State team next week, Central with a trash Howard team. Should be blowouts

November 19 is the MEAC Championship game!

Grambling beat A&M 56-17.
