I'm talking about for Orlando. Their roster is pretty much entirely comprised of 25 > prospects, a couple of whom who are still learning to play the NBA game, what role is Ibaka supposed to have on the team?

Your guess is as good as mines on that one breh. I think the Magic desperately needed interior defense and I know they probably didn't want to draft another kid on a roster thats full of them. Serge provides a veteran presence in the paint because we know Vucci-mane is lackluster on the defensive end. Serge also can spread the floor. Magic gave up Ersan Ilyasova who was a hole at the 4 spot on defense and replace him with a guy who can shoot as well as defend.

This year is definitely up there with that Rubio/Flynn fiasco by the Wolves

Orlando is the biggest draft loser. Boston and Sacramento also lost.

The Sixers did a pretty good job adding talent across the board, OKC fleeced Orlando and the Lakers snatched up the best player in the draft.

Pelicans got Hield which was a massive need and that Diallo dude from Kansas, solid gets

Spurs got a great pg in Murray which everyone said was a huge steal for them and fits right in with them

Bulls kinda reached on Valentine, they said they wanna go more athletic and Valentine isnt athlletic at all, plus the D Rose trade they got killed on

Hawks fukked up and reached for a player and the other 1st rounder they got Bembrey is meh...both typical boring Hawks picks who wont make impacts for atleast 2 years or if they ever do

Bulls draft is solid. Valentine will be better than all those random Euros drafted

Rose trade isnt part of the draft grade, but they obviously lost on that

-Put a rim protector and shotblocker next to Vucevic who is one of the worst in that regard

-Ibaka can hit threes and is a pick and roll threat which creates better spacing and allows Vucevic to operate in the low post

-Clears cap space long term, I don't think Orlando sees Oladipo as a max player

N.O won the draft imo...Buddy can easily end up being the best player outta this class playing in Gentry offense...If Jrue and Tyreke can get him looks with AD working inside out

I would've thought that 3rd pick would've been able to net the Celtics Okafor or Noel easily. Did the Celtics not think either was enough for the third pick? They'd rather have Jaylen Brown, really? I don't get it.

Celtics not picking Dunn or doing any trades really was mindboggling...yea they traded KG Pierce etc but all the assets and players drafted with those picks are all useless and horrible

Not exactly,...valentine is dainty as fukk mentally and potentially physically as well.
Plus, he did not produce in the tournie and plays for an undersized former player who was an unactualized real point guard at coach.
So, it is not like valentine will be running the pg.
Plus, valentine can not play above the rim at sg. Has no foot speed to play and guard the sg or three and is a physicality based defender at the one, which he won't play.
All because he plays with a visionless and inexperienced coach.

So, valentine potentially says bust all day any way you call it.
This draft showed the nba is visionless and firmly platooned in the low bball IQ era with no real end ever insight ever.
