I had one for a rental a few weeks ago. But when I got to the car the bumper was hanging off of the thing. So they put me an a MKX.

Was really hoping to give it a spin too.

why buy a Maxima when you can buy the Infinity brand tho??

I like Maxima's, just never cared to buy one. Actually, I did before about 4 years ago and my girl was like:usure:

If you don't need AWD you get pretty close at a lower cost and probably so for insurance and maintenance. Can't lie though the Infiniti cars are so damn nice. :ohlawd: Maxima CVT is :martin: too.

The VW CC is also a luxury-esque steal. Chip it and it's another animal. Audi like interior.

I'm looking into getting a new car. Just not enough room in mine since me and my lady are in a 7 person household and nobody wants to sit in the back of a celica. How's this compare to an Avalon? I was just looking at pictures of a 2016 maxima earlier today.

Going to check one out this week. Lookin at this vs an Impala. Pretty happy with my current Maxima, but I like how these standout. Interior looks damn nice.

Got it from a dealership? Know any places that have good deals going regularly? I'm saving up for a down payment on one.
If you're going to lease or buy just do these steps

1. keep an eye on the official Nissan Maxima thread at Edmunds.

2. Join a Maxima forum.

3. See what deals people are getting. That's where #1 and #2 come in. Find the lowest/best deal possible. You'll definitely see some on there that are too good to be true, because they probably are. A lot of people like to fake flex their negotiating skills. Use your brain to weed those out.

4. Get a list of dealers a) in your state b) in neighboring states c) around the country. Also get referrals from the forum members if possible (that's how I bought my M2 that I got coming)

5. Email 5-7 in state, 3-5 in your region, and 1-3 out of state. Tell them that you've been offered x, y, and z from ________ dealership. Can they match it or beat it. Send them that best possible deal you found. If you're leasing make sure you send Money Factor, Cap Cost, and all other lease terms (see #3). If you're buying you obviously want to pay invoice or something above that (see #3). Don't leave them any room to change up the deal. Send them EVERYTHING (again, see #3)

Eventually you'll get a dealership to beat or match the best deal. If they are out of the state enjoy the ride back or have them ship it to the nearest Nissan dealership for you. This is the method I use. I paid less monthly on my fully loaded $63k GS350 F-Sport than most people pay on Camry's.

Another thing you might want to try is the Costco, American Express, or your local credit unions "Car buying program". I'm sure there are others out there. This is the best way to get relatively close to invoice.

This works for pre owned too? I'm seeing 2 year old platinum editions on auto trader for $26,000

It's a little harder for preowned because there is no invoice number to go off of and inventory and pricing is readily available on the web.

But you can try it for sure.

I can help you out though. What year are you looking for specifically? I'll help you out with some auction numbers. I got time to run 2 different years for you before I gotta go bounce to see some fireworks. That way you'll have an idea what dealers are paying for them at auction. That should help you determine good deal or not.
