That maybe true but peeping how people were riding him HARD in threads and the Fullsail marks were all chanting along only to cool off when he actually wrestles, leads me to suspect they didn't even watch any of his prior work . You had people in threads talking about how bad his physique looked.I feel like a lot marks got lowkey exposed.

Roman Reigns shouldn't have won most overrated maybe he should've won most hated/over pushed if we had to be negative. As for Sheamus even the WWE doesn't view Sheamus that highly anymore. They made him a transitional champion just so the Philly fans would cheer Reigns.
I would've given Zack Sabre Jr. Most Overrated. Fullsail marks went from singing his name to sitting on their hands when they found out how the guy who the internet told them was great wrestles.
I guess even though they knew how to chant his name they didn't know they weren't fans of stretching.
Edit/ Cien Almas would've also been a good choice as he was hyped up because of his NJPW stint only to be outshined by a more popular Tye DillengerI guess he got outshined by a more hated Reigns too.

Alma is even more of a bust than KENTA has ended up being, and KENTA has been injured for more of his WWE career than healthy. I don't remember him having a ton of hype though, since lucha is the least followed of styles/areas in internet wrassles.
I posted 2 of his matches in the Riddle thread.But if the breh debuted in February of 2015 (according to his Wiki) and the time frame this covers starts in December 2015, he shouldn't be eligible for the 2016 Rookie of the Year, though, right?

I feel like the most overrated and the most underrated should be switched.......
He had some a little bit of hype. NXT played his vignette for a few months and fans were online bringing up that he defeated Shinsuke Nakumura for the IWGP Intercontinental championship. You can call him a bust as opposed to overrated but it's obvious he was supposed to be WWE's next big Mexican superstar.
Who is overrated him? He's been a joke since his NXT TV debut.
I guess if HHH is really running the show he did. Whoever suggested he unmask himself and wear a fedora and suspenders did. He is a good in ring wrestler but the attire, cocky taunts and defeating crowd favorite Tye Dillinger killed him on the spot. They've turned him heel since, but I haven't watched NXT in a while to know if he's really better.

Agree with most of them. He really needs to separate the Wrestling and MMA section though.
Only ones I really don't agree with. I can name a couple WWE PPVs in 2016 that were worse than Mania 32, Reigns being overrated makes no sense when he was midcarding it most of the year and has been the victim of both shytty booking and stupid smarks, SD Live/Talking Smack >>>>> NJPW's shyt, and I get it if people don't like Otunga's commentary but the worst??

These "smarks" need to stop with Cesaro. He's a great wrestler but his gimmick is trash and he was given multiple opportunities on the microphone this year and was very average. What do they want out of him? He's not world champion material.
