Yea if the cavs win game 3, people will watch game 4
I keep talking this emotions and sweep rhetoric because hats what's supposed to happen but I expect Lebron to try and steal one game and not be completely ran off he court at home even though the last 5 or 6 nba champions celebrated on the opponents court

It's fine for a singular year but It wont be good for the league long term if the Warriors don't get pushed, and looking at the makeup of the league we could be seeing this 2-3 more times where they just steamroll their conference then don't get pushed in the finals.

If they win this finals, then go on to win another 70+ games next year it makes the entire playoffs moot, and the team is young enough that this could be the theme for the next 3 years.

Cavs will win of these games at home.

49ers..Braves..Celtics
This is a dumb thread. If the Finals goes 7 games that's more money in everyone's pockets. A sweep don't do that. From a TV and league perspective, a sense of parity or competitive balance is more profitable. TV ratings mean little if there's less games to watch. A game 7 does 30 million plus viewers most likely.

No kidding. Who doesn't wanna watch a shyt load of all stars play against each other in a championship. Durant still a bytch for teaming up with the nikkas who bent his ass over the year before though.

Not surprised.

People keep complaining about parity but the only decade the NBA had any real parity, no one remembers. The 70's might as well not exist to most NBA fans.

On a side note, Dr. J and Kareem would've been much bigger stars if their primes had been in the 80's.
That was 40 years ago though. The league was 2/3rds the size it is now

I get it, we still want to see some type of challenge for teams going through the playoffs and that's fair. But still...the last 30 years have had the Celtics, Lakers, Heat, Bulls, Rockets, Pistons all repeat with the Spurs winning another 5 in non-consecutive order.

They told me the NBA was in trouble :wow:

The NBA has a problem :wow: - Dan Lebetard

Look at that on court product :banderas: Steph and KD bombing from everywhere, Draymond making big plays, yelling at the refs :gladbron: Kyrie getting busy, shaking Ian Clark out his boots :wow:

Klay taking those on the spectrum, no sense of clock management shots :krs:

Lebron running people over and dunking on them :ooh:

can't even turn away with The King is getting smoked by 20:whoo:

The one decade where the NBA had parity is spoken of in passing for a reason (other than cocaine). This league is built on dynasties and runs on the fascination from viewers seeing super teams mobbing for a few years. People like dominance, plain and simple.
