The Main Event uniform revives a beloved intersection of Memphis sports & entertainment for this year’s City Edition.
From the hallowed halls of the Ellis Auditorium and the Mid-South Coliseum to Saturday mornings on WMC TV to the bright lights of FedExForum, Memphis has hosted our fair share of athletes as entertainers and entertainers as athletes.
Our Main Event uniforms pays homage to the entertainers as athletes of the past – all the heels, faces, and kings alike that have made Memphis a wrestling hub for generations.
Coined by Bill Schonely in our inaugural season, Rip City has grown to represent the spirit of our fans, city and culture.
The PDX nickname is a tribute to our hometown – Portland, Oregon, USA.
A twist on the iconic jersey sash with red across the chest is a nod to our City of Roses.
Blazermania is an endearing term that describes the unique fandemonium of Rip City.
A salute to the year it all began, 1970
been waiting to see what we got. Nike doing their thing with these.

Vibrant orange and blue are a nod to the uniform the Cavaliers wore in 1994 during their first season in the new arena when they returned home to downtown Cleveland, which spurred a new era of development and renaissance for the City.
Teaming up with Destination Cleveland, the Cavaliers will proudly display the organization’s iconic Cleveland script wordmark across their chest. The unique partnership champions the vibrant city the Cavs are proud to represent on the court, in the community, across the country and to the world.
The wave pattern splitting the orange and blue across the chest represents Lake Erie and the power and energy generated from this body of water that defines the shoreline of the City of Cleveland. A force of nature, The Great Lake Erie symbolizes the perseverance and fortitude of a community of people who stand strong together and proudly call themselves “Clevelanders.”
The jock tag on the lower left of the jersey reads “1 OUT OF 5 GREATS,” in reference that Lake Erie is one of the five Great Lakes.
Under the short ventilation flap of the right leg is an icon of the Great Lakes.
Train your eyes on brand new City Edition Pacers uniform and the elements of design inspired by a state built on speed race to the forefront.
From the all-caps PACERS emblazoned on the front in italics — as if the letters themselves are in motion — to the ALWAYS LEAD text tucked into the left hip of the uniform, speed is dominant in the design.
In this year's City Edition uniforms, some of those elements permeate the design, such as diagonal stripes that break from the uniform's otherwise solid color. While the original Flo-Jo unis had two versions — one with white as the predominant color and the other blue — the City Edition comes in gray with gold lines breaking apart a blue siding.
The City Edition uniforms also feature a nod to the Pacers' #WeGrowBasketballHere ethos, as the ray lines that can been seen on Indiana's gold Statement uniforms make an appearance on both the shorts and siding of the uniform.
The ray lines break through the text "ALWAYS LEAD", which will be tucked into the shorts during play. The blending of ALWAYS LEAD and We Grow Basketball Here can be seen as Indiana's commitment to leading the way for future basketball players. As basketball becomes an increasingly global passion, Indiana will Always Lead at growing talent from all corners of the state.
