Sam Darnold impressed me last season. Kid looks like a veteran in the pocket.
But as for him (or any QB, really) going #1...I'm not so sure.
What teams are gonna need a QB next year?
Basically you gotta look at what teams are gonna be terrible AND need a QB...that realistically just leaves the Jets...maybe the 49ers (they drafted CJ Beathard in the 3rd round)...Buffalo?
Even if my Dolphins decide Tannehill aint shyt, they won't be THAT bad to be near the #1 pick.
edit - Maybe Washington if they ever decide to part with Cousins. Possibly the Saints...but they won't draft near #1.

What sucks is that if the Jets are terrible and get the 1st pick, it won't be Todd Bowles who benefits.

Nor should he. I can't defend the shyt he's been pulling for the last year.
My only gripe with Bowles is that he insisted on starting that bum ass Ryan Fitzpatrick.
