Chalamet should've got nominated over Sam Neil. Biggest snub of the year. That movie was buns but that kid acted his ass off.

Yeah, Black Panther got the same bad deal as The Winter Soldier. It was running great as a somewhat unconventional blockbuster and then the suits probably vetoed that the third act needed to be a typical blockbuster CGI action fest. And BP actually got it worse because some of the CGI is absolutely atrocious.

Multi-billion dollar company using 2004-ass looking CGI.:scust:

And it keeps winning best effects awards :heh:

I LIVE IN A CARDBOARD BOX!
So one of the awards they're not televising in the Best Cinematography award? I guess it's a good thing Roger Deakins (FINALLY) won it last year after 13 tries. It's like AMPAS admitting "Alright, we finally gave him one. That's the pinnacle of this award. No need to see anything else in this category. :hubie:"

Imagine making a movie without cinematography.

Just listened to a podcast from The Ringer comparing BP's nomination to Ben Hur and Return of the King :obama:

And remember that the Best Picture category is the one category where members don't just get to make one pick, but actually have to list the nominees in order of best to worst following a point system.:mjlol:

I think THR or Deadline did an interview with 20 different Academy voters and it was :mjlol: a lot of them said they liked Black Panther but wasn't going to vote for it because Disney makes too much money and someone voted for Bohemian Rhapsody because it's a "Guilty Pleasure" even though the movie sucks. The Netflix shyt is :dead: they really got beef with Netflix to the point where they don't want to vote for Roma.

What a clusterfukk. :russ:

Academy Head needs to be fired.

Not wanting to televise cinematography:mjlol: and maybe since they don't have a host shouldn't that cut down the shows length already? :dead:
