It might be one of the greatest years for film.

Nah not really.

Amongst those films i see ZERO written/produced/directed by ANY black people.

I’ll take Beale Street, BlackKlansmen, And Black Panther over Kevin Smith, Tarantino, and Jim Carrey any day of the week

I kind of hate how BP is getting thesw major nods for best picture but they won't nominate Coogler for best director. Just bugs me a bit.

I won't watch it but to the BP team for getting up there.

He's got one. He'll get two for this. History won't be kind to it but history isn't kind to a lot of flicks. The winners all manage to be okay though so he'll be cool. People have turned on Forest Gump but no one shyts on Tom Hanks for it. Or anyone involved actually. It does suck that this is the movie he'll get his second award for though but I'm sure he won't be crying about it.
