So, money wasn't a problem in 2016 as we all know HRC outraised DJT.

Bernie's raised more money than anyone in the Dem field this year. He has 4 million nearly 5 million individual donations which is a record. Bernie also has more donors than Trump. This power isn't talked about enough. And unfortunately its discounted in the talk of Bernie's candidacy.

Biden has low cash on hand and barely outraised Kamala and Yang last quarter. It's a big problem. And he has Obama's list. Its why he needs a SuperPAC to run ads in Iowa because Bernie is on the airwaves in the early states and Bernie is going to be on the airwaves in California in a way no one else will be.

Even though zero super lacs have reported they’re spending on Joe, his Fundraising numbers will Jump quickly once they do.

He’s the leading candidate right now.

theoretically the plan would be wait until he’s clearly the candidate, go out and get donations from the individuals who donated to another candidate and get their $2700 “during the primary” wait until he’s announced as the candidate, then go back to them and get the other $2700.

he’s just biding his time.

Also it’s not 2016 anymore, Donald Trump is killing it in fundraising.

he raised about almost 90 million during the 2016 Primary campaign. He’s already at over 300 million currently and the race hasn’t even really started yet.

It seems a lot hate Biden bc of the “moderate persona”. But can’t really find a lot you don’t like about his beliefs on the issues.

I’m a die-hard “black progressive“ that doesn’t align at all with white leftists, but I’m voting for Biden bc his platform on the issues are great.

Plus the long-term goal of “black progressivism” is to push through a black progressive candidate(That will prioritize black issues) For President one day, with a legit shot. We get that with Biden.

Remember with Trump's fundraising, that $300M figure is him and the RNC. If you look at his campaign individually, he's not raised that much more than Bernie this calendar year. I think he's raised about $90M and Bernie close to $80M according to FEC through 9/30.

The RNC is flush with cash though and their centralization of efforts and streamlining is a big plus for them. Dems are fragmented out but a lot of money is going to outside groups and candidates themselves which may be better for the Dems.

And also remember, Trump has been running for re-election since January 20, 2017, the day of the inauguration. Incumbency gives you that advantage of course.
