Stacey brings liberals and black women.

black women will camp out in front of polling offices to vote for her as the vp
Black women will vote for the nominee regardless, if you’re picking her to shore up your strongest voting block that’s stupid AF
Ohio is Obama Country. No way.
Lol, not at all. Ohio never been an bankable state. Always flip flops, Obama was his own enigma.

Ohio is Obama Country. No way.

That was in the 2000s. At this point Ohio is a "leans red" state, mainly due to demographics (high percentage of working class white voters, low percentage with a degree, etc.) there just favoring the GOP.

Not saying Dems should write it off completely but there are other states they should be focusing on a lot more.

she brings in the Detroit Michigan And philly black voters
Hillary lost in the suburbs too. Tory and Lansdale are the issue.

Tim ryan would not deliver ohio

I think vps delivering states may be over

They can help in some demographics nationally like pence with evangelicals but i dont think beto would deliver texas, gillum florida or ryan ohio..for instance. But maybe im wrong

Oddly enough though and contradictory to that..i think klobuchar as VP would secure minnesota as definitely blue. Hmm. :jbhmm:

In any event..ryan doesnt have the star power of someone like beto or gillum. Maybe maybe maybe they could make texas and florida tighter but ryan is not swaying trump voters in ohio to vote biden or 'should i vote today or not' people to turn out just because hes on the ticket. He has 0 charisma. He reminds me of the dramatic hamster

Admittely Ohio is a littler redder, because so many black people have moved south, but it can be won imo. Maybe not with Ryan, but he should pick another white guy. Voters want normalcy.

there was a drop off in key states with black voters.

And she gets the biggest stage ever for a black progressive. We need her on that stage. That’s the end goal.

Minny is and will stay blue, Minneapolis and St. Paul make that happen. Klobuchar doesn’t pull independents and these coveted ( ) white working class voters

Im on board with yang as vp

He would drive turnout for young voters to support the older top of the ticket (bernie/biden/warren)..he has appeal to independents and swing voters..hes enthusiastic and funny and would be a great contrast to pence in a debate..and it would serve him well to get the experience in governance to later run again

Itd be a bold play but id pull the trigger if im the dem nominee

We are not the reason Dems lost. Stop buying that shyt. Thank cism and white women. Dems want to win they need someone who appeals to blocks that didn’t vote for them at a 92% clip

I honestly dc if we were or not. That doesn’t matter to me. I’ll gladly say we were, to get a black centric progressive as the vp.

People said that about the "blue wall"

Minnesota has been blue but its always super close. Its not like its out of play
ehh, minny ain’t a threat IMO, especially not this cycle. Either way she does nothing for a lot of voters, reading the comment section of articles posted in online editions of Minnesota newspapers even her constituents wanted her to drop out and just focus on being a senator. If your home state gives no fukks about your candidacy, not sure how she delivers others.

That’s why I think it’s not a threat this cycle. It’s one of the states I’m betting has a “wake up call”. But it really depends on if farmers vote on policy (trade ware and other policies have hurt them) or “American values”. But like my other point, reading comments online from Dems in Minnesota, a lot of them aren’t excited about her for pres, so again, if your home state’s dem base rather you just go be a senator, who or what does she bring?
