Why would we trust the judgment of people who thought the crime bill would be good despite objections and then when it's effect on the black community was realized didn't do everything possible to overturn it and then give recourse to those harmed?

This is a good question. Unfortunately, it leads to "don't vote". Which isn't an option this time around.

If you think anyone else has a chance, then YOU need to step to the side :mjlol: You're for Warren, Yang? :dead:
Who’s mans is this...please go back to TLR or The coliseum...

since when are the primaries a poll popularity contest and not an exercise of voting on candidates based on policy position?

Absolutely not. We're talking about the primaries. We have a full spread of candidates. If one of them loses then we will compare the eventual candidate to Trump.

Like I said, I'm a pragmatist, but this isn't the time for that.

Are you new to politics???

Do you know what polls are? Do you know why they are so widely coveted?? Do you realize that primaries ARE elections, and that people don't SOLELY vote based on a policy position? Do you know what the median voter theorem is?

shyt, if you were educated you'd realize that people thought that Kennedy upset Nixon because of looks alone :mjlol:

I get paid 6 figures to do analytics like this, so nikka it's you who needs to back to TLR.

You're doing money talk now? You don't Want to do that. :pachaha:
I'm sure there are lawyers and doctors who make more than me here, but I literally get paid to do people analytics for a FAANG company breh. That's what I do everyday.

In an ideal world, with a direct democracy where majority rules, I'd definitely be for Warren. But that's not reality.

Because in reality, the youth back progressives like Bernie but don't bother voting. In reality AOC unseat a Democrat in a solid blue district with terrible voter turnout.

None of this addresses the fact that there are plenty of people who vote for candidates based on policy and perceived effectiveness. So again, are people supposed to use the primary as a popularity contest based on polls? Or show up and vote for the candidate they believe in?

Yo, what do you think polls are based on??

The question for the CBS News/YouGov poll is literally who is your first choice to be the Democratic nominee? Of course policy is part of that thought process. That's what puts them as a member of the party. However, how that policy will get enacted and the feasibility of that policty will play a huge role as well.

For example Marianne Williamson is 100% for reparations, but most ADOS aren't dumb enough to think that direct reparations would get through a partisan Congress.

You don't want to do big data talk either. How many petabaytes are you working with? :francis:

So now that you can admit as much, let’s get back to the crux of your first reply to me in which you seemed to laugh at the idea of people supporting candidates other than Bernie and Biden because polls...

like I said, feel free to take that nonsense that way ———>
