Lol he went independent because he lost to lamont in the primary of 06
At the same time Obama began talking de-escalation in Iraq while lieberman supported endless war. This is the same period where Obama began to make waves.

Lieberman lost to an antiwar candidate despite the party's endorsement and financial backing.

Still won being republican lite in the general.
Even supported McCain in 08.

What percentage of money is "all their money"

If you have just $1B you can spend $100K every day for 37 years and still have $15M left over.

And these guys are multi billionaires ...they can afford a few hundred K in taxes.

shyt, my co-worker makes like $150k and had to pay about $30K.

She prolly paying a higher percentage than these guys
Where do you live? :ohhh:

You biden boys just really don't understand that no one is excited or motivated to vote for Biden. Bernie has a MOVEMENT and his base is energized. Good luck.
I think the anyone but Trump base is bigger than Bernie's base.

I also believe Bernie's base is smaller than Trump's base.

If he wants to win he's going to have to forge a coalition in the primaries and not just pander to his base.

why does everyone trying to shyt on biden have to go back 40 years :dead:
Because these are important issues he was wrong on. There is no statute of limitations on wrong decision making. Especially since these polices that Biden supported are still having a negative impact to this day.

Also we don’t have to go back to the 80s and 90s. He ended off the 90s by supporting the repeal of Glass-Steagall, which helped lead to the 08 financial crisis. He was plenty wrong in the 00s as well. He supported the War In Iraq, and that garbage bankruptcy bill. I’m sure he would of been wrong on many other issues if he wasn’t insulated as Vice President for 8 years. I just don’t understand the appeal some of you have for Joe Biden.

These numbers are actually not that bad for Bernie. I think Warren had a real chance to increase her Black support before her recent decline nationally. I think if Bernie or Liz win Iowa and NH (not split) one of them can significantly improve their numbers with Black voters. I personally know a lot of Black people that are supporting Biden just because they think he have the best chance to beat Trump. If Bernie or Liz can win Iowa, NH, and then Nevada that can eat into Biden Black support. At least in the 35 to 49 category. I think older Black voters are sticking with Biden no matter what.

When Bernie wins Iowa, we're going to see a shift in black voter support towards Bernie much in the way Obama was seen as a viable option by black voters after he won Iowa in 2008.
The "shift" has already begun and is happening, the media is just late to the party. And so are the people in this thread who think they are pundits like nap. All we need to do is look back to Ben Carson's run to see how easily these polls can be gamed. The real takeaway from that polling above:

2/3s of black people support m4a and joe Biden? If someone believes these numbers jive I have a bridge to sell them..

One thing about US elections is that support for individual policies don’t always cross over to who people support as a candidate. A lot of the general electorate has no idea of where politicians stand on individual issues outside of maybe their individual tentpole positions - M4A, UBI, Family Leave etc. I definitely believe there is a mismatch between people being polled on individual policy and candidate support. Then you also have to look at whether that’s their #1 issue. If people are anti immigration/open borders but pro M4A, the immigration position might lead them away from someone like Bernie

anyway, imma just wait til voting starts. None of the matters until ballots are being counted
